The way Supercell releases update information

'm happy with what they release, but not putting a date onto the changes causes unhappiness. I know the way apple works may make it difficult, but not giving people even the slightest idea eventually makes me get bored. Film companies give release dates of movies to create natural buzz. And it works. Look at Diablo III, Game of Thrones Season 3 - immense good feeling. What do we get? "soon" and over 100 pages of yak arguing the toss about wb AI.

I think the wiser way for Supercell to deal with release date is probably that: announce all the features, and then inform us that they have submitted the update to Apple to approve and go live. So the release date is out of their hands. This way players won't blame Supercell for the wait and not knowing exactly when to get the update. If anyone to blame, the players will most likely blame Apple for the long wait (to get the update).

I enjoy the way they release information about the release, I go to work and discuss what I think will be released during lunch with co-workers... My only issue is that I am a gemmer who saves up in real life for the release, not in the game... Would be nice to know when it was coming out so I could drop money as soon as it does

I just wish they'd give us a better timeframe.

Only critique is I wish they used a slightly more centralized format (again, I refer to the masters) like Blizzard.

Use their site as authoritative space for the updates, full on graphics, illustrations, videos etc. and then link to it everywhere else.

Too much misinformation out there and pieces of the story.
