Hello. I am wheating too and I always list 10 wheats for 1 coin so it buys very fast. If you listed it for 36 coins, I think that you were lucky to sell it in a few seconds. Wjen you sell things like wheat, sweaters, bacon & eggs and things like this, it can take day to sell them for the max price
You know what totally blows me away with every conspiracy post I see. They all insist that as soon as they bought DIAMONDS (we don't do gems on hayday), something horrible happened. Do you realize how ridiculously stupid that would be for SuperCell. "Oh yes, pay real money to us for some virtual bits and bytes and we will make your game, harder and more miserable". "And we'll even provide a forum so you can tell other players what jerks we are". That's sure to make our stock prices soar!
Think about it. Pretty far fetched. And as for Candy Crush, which I agree really sticks it to players. They don't do this either. All they do is get you addicted and then the hand comes out for more money for more levels, or they make it ridiculously hard to level up so you have to buy power ups or whatever in order to advance. They know their game is boring and has a life span so they have to get you while you still want to play and before you get bored. They need new players. Supercell likes their players to stay for the long haul.
Think about it. The updates bring new machines and products for the higher levels, they continue to make decorations that lower levels don't need but higher levels want because the game is set so that money is not an issue as you level up. So we buy decorations. The masteries are time based and some of the achievements take a long time but don't get harder as you level up. There is nothing essential you CANT do. Even the elusive pearls and tractors aren't any harder to get than topiaries. Yes they are more scarce, but they don't require more skill. (Think Angry Birds, the first couple steps are relatively easy but they get harder and require more skill). Each net you place for that pearl is done the same way whether you get it or not is fate. The hardest thing to do is Fishing and even that isn't impossible, just nerve racking.
So for the makers of the game to punish you for giving them money is ludicrous. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Call me a fan boy if you want, but I have Aspergers and logic rules my life. I tend to believe it more than silly theories that make no sense.
Everyone here has given you advice that is very good and comes from people who have played longer than two days. It stands to reason that they just might know what they are talking about.

One person in my NH sells corn at 72 per bundle and they go VERY fast, She cannot grow corn fast enough to fill the slots and eventually she decides there no way her supply can meet the need so she stops growing her own corn and just comes to my shop where hundreds of corns listed at 20/bundle would sit there for hours :(. She is now a corn reseller and the whole NH is her supplier :)
That's how things are nowadays. When you have hundreds of followers your stuff get sold instantly no matter what they are
I have a follower who buys up a lot of my corn (10x 20coin) and his shop is filled with 10x 72coin. However my goal is not to make cash from the wheating but to drop these crops out of my silo. I seriously couldnt care less if someone is buying my produce to resell for profit, as long as my shop is cleared :).
<< level 103 and have never purchased even one diamond.
Anything that gets put in the RRS either goes fast or sits for hours or days. It's a ♥♥♥♥ shoot.

on the subject of gaming - I've tried several other games over the past couple years. All of them (except this one and Words with Friends) have stopped at a certain level unless you buy into them. I hope HayDay never EVER considers this. It's a lovely game that keeps on getting better and better.

At low levels, coins are everything and leveling up more quickly than you can build your coin stash is far more frustrating than pacing yourself.
