I am not someone who screams; LOWER THE PRICES, but is it a realistic thing to ask?
In the end we just want to see nice bases, and if they lower all the prices by one level (lv 8 200k, lv9 500k etc), I would definately put all my walls to lv 9 before going to th10.
Eventually new people will just take these prices for granted and all walls will be one level higher, wouldnt that be nice?
plus it saves me a lot of farming of course :P
If anything they should increase the prices. It will be a sad, sad day if I ever max my walls completely.
Walls are supposed to be difficult. They show the mark of a true farmer:rolleyes:

Wall levels differentiate a player. If prices are low everyone would be the same.
Moreover, setting price low will deter clashers from gemming the walls. SC is a profit making company ya know:confused:
Yeah making it cheaper would make it too easy. I like the challenge. It is something to look forward to.
I used to think the same thing, but walls are meant to be a challenge and they show how hardcore of a clasher you are. And another reason if they made level 9 walls 500k think of the millions and millions people would have wasted. This wouldn't just be lowering the price of an item but walls.
if they were cheaper, wall grinding would not be that much fun.
Personally, I enjoy the wall grind and I think it needs to be expensive. Otherwise, what farming challenge would there be in the game ?
Getting the gold for upgrades of any kind of structure is not much of a challenge for a heavy farmer.

It's pretty senseless in regards of being a successfull trophy pusher, and walls don't help you gain a higher game level (unlike other updates).
But it can raise your Goldgrab, which is the only statistic that many farmers (including me) really care about.
And the walls obviously show other farmers that you mean business. It's a show off among farmers.

Wall prices are just fine because they allow for players that want to "excel" at the game do so. Upgrading buildings is super easy and anyone can do it with very little effort. To get pimped walls takes a lot of time and dedication, so to me walls are a sign of dedication to the game.
An important factor in any game such as this is to have a seemingly unobtainable level that others sit back and go "oooh, ahhh" "I wish I had those walls". If 90% of the players are sitting on full zap walls with full defenses it makes for a dull game.
Sure, it gets diminished a little bit because people can drop $10k and just buy the walls, but SC allows us to know the difference between the guy with a 100M gold grab and full zap walls versus the guy with a 2B Gold Grab and near full zap walls.
Wall prices are fine as they are. If anything should be changed about walls is that they shouldn't take a builder.
I've outfarmed my builder speeds, I only have 2 TH9 Defences maxed, everything is still TH8 standard and I am at 220 lavas/30zap walls. 2 Builders are constantly working on both heroes together and 1 builder free for walls, leaving me only 2 builder for defences.
So yeah, pretty please, SC?

it's easy to get because there is nothing to spend it on, if there was then it wouldn't be easy to get. earlier in the game the value was par with each other but at high levels elixir is worthless. Why would you oppose bringing some value back to it?

I can sorta agree with you guys on not lowering the price of walls but i do agree that once you get to trying to get lvl 8 walls and above they get very expensive i wld like to see a price change but not that drastic. mayb like make lvl 8 to 400k and not 500 and lvl 9 like 750k-800k. plus VERY like literally only a handfull of players have maxed out a th10 base with lvl 11 walls (from farming and no gems) and everything maxed out. if you do the math itll cost a player around $11,000 american dollars i think (correct me if im wrong), from a player to go from the very start of the game to a maxed out base heros and all. thats ALOT of money i think decreasing the price of walls not by alot but by like mayb 15-20% decrease would be great and supercell cld still make money off of those impaciente people and it wld still show the dedication of a farmer because the prices arent being decreased by that much just enough to help speed the proccess. 15-20% prices off lvl 8 and above wld be great all around.

Sorry but there exists zero logical reasons to lower wall prices. The only reason I can see to lower any wall prices would be for a balancing issue. That's different than the reason of "I can't earn max walls on my own" There needs to be something that separates the long term players from the longer term players from the long term hardcore players from the even more long term and hardcore players. Wall farming tests the ability of a farmer. To become a true farming master you must learn to farm walls even though it is a pain in the butt

They are never going to reduce the cost as there would, quite rightly, be uproar from the players that have put the effort in/spent the money to get them. Even a small marginal change in the cost of walls will equate to a large amount of gold when multiplied up by 250 walls.
If you want them, you need to put the time in, get your wallet out. Or you could just take my approach, meh.

I used to know a member who did this exact same thing. It took me a little while to understand why buttttt i finally understood. So what it is is, the clasher plays the game so much that they farm more gold then their builders are able to handle. (de as well) So what happens is instead of waiting for their builders to finish and sitting on full storages (cuz they raid so much) they do walls. And once they do lvl 8 walls, they need to make another decision wait to do all th8 uprages while having full storages or go to th9 as a premie (sorta) and do legos and lavas while they have really low defences and buildings.Quote:

Wall prices are set to keep people engaged in the game. If I didn't dump gold into walls I would play at least 50% less because I would have nothing to raid for.
His GG is at 1.7bil and understand that is difficult for a wall complainer to understand but there are people with up to 2bil. The only way to reach anywhere above 1.2-1.3 billion gold grab is to do walls to 10 and beyond. Good luck lazy boy:cool:Quote:
