Death Star - A TH7 farming base

Intro
After lurking around these forms a bit I have decided to present to you, the Death Star, a TH7 base I have created. Over the next few paragraphs I will show you the tech specs of the Death Star! Just remember this base can be deadly to whole races but, can still be taken down with the force...

Technical Stuff

-Clan Castle
Just like the Death Star, your clan castle is a secret weapon. Fill it with a laser of archer arrows, or maybe a giant blockade, or maybe even a dragon "star fighter" of the Imperial fleet. It's all up to you (and partially your clan mates)! But, loading your castle with troops isn't good enough your clan castle must be cantered and (as much as possible) un-lure able.

-Corners
The corners are made to prevent wall breakers from attacking them and giving the attacker a longer route.

In the diagram above let's assume the red dot is a WB'er (or a group of them). By placing the pocket over the corner it diverts the WB'er from taking out an important section of walls (circled in red "for your convenience"), that would allow access to multiple apartments, and instead makes him chose a path (in green "for your convenience") and go to a not-as-important section of walls (circled in blue" for your convenience")!

-Triangulated mortar

Traps and funnels

-Archer funnels
On the top and bottom of the base the wizard towers are a bit farther back than the cannons. This allows me to funnel some archers. As an example look below.

In the diagram above let's assume that the red dots are archers, starting off they'll pick off some outside buildings but, afterwards they'll go for the cannons. Eventually, they'll take out the cannons (they're blown up "for your convenience") and then follow the arrow ( colored green "for your convenience") straight toward the bomb and, if the bomb didn't take out the last of their life the wizard tower will gladly do it afterwards.

-Giant Funnels
After breaking through the first layer the giants are going to continue to the second layer (no duh)

But once in the second layer giants will split up going for the defenses. They will then follow the path (green "for your convenience") to their ultimately doom!

Great base with very nice tactics. Love it. One thing I would change is the storages in a line, but that is not a huge priority.

Nice looking layout, I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes. Although I did have to change it a bit to make spots for the teslas, here's a picture of the updates that I did

The second one looks pretty decent just need to make room for 2 teslas but shouldn't be a issue.

Do you have experience with giants pathing like that? I don't think they will. I think they will ignore the storage, and go for the corner wall towards the two defenses. You may catch the giants, but only after they take out those 2 defenses.

Well yes but, giants don't always go from the middle and split up, sometimes they will go to the mortar first and then go up to the AD through the two spring traps (or in reverse). If you would like to see it in action I would suggest you use the design, because I can't record it myself. Or if you have a better way to design that part I would be glad to hear it!

I am not saying it's a bad design, I just don't think the giants are going to hit that trap at a good time. Maybe my giants like to split up more than everyone else's.... sometimes I want to punch my iPad when that happens.

Well no base is invincible. Plus, a PEKKA could probobally take it down.

I use this base design for farming...
I say its pretty good but you have to upgrade your defenses and walls quickly so they cant get inside...
also you can switch one of the elixir storage for a gold one so that you wont lose all elixir when you get raided

I think I did pretty good. I think I could've done better if he hadn't lightning-ed my top mortar.
Edit: The top wizard tower was being upgraded.

I put the teslas in the corner buffs, the fifth cannon outside, and I don't have a BK (I really want one though). I also wish I had your walls they make the base much more intimidating.

Walls do intimidate at high levels! And to get a BK, go to gold 2 and take inactive th9s or 10s with full de collectors thats how I got mine and up to level 2

The only thing I would say is, for the farming base, switch one of the gold storages with something else. If someone wants gold they could attack from the top and take both of the storages without having to face the whole other part of your setup.

Either take out the easy pickings, or attack inactive people with full collectors, there's plenty of people with full DE collectors, I get 1000+ DE per raid, quite awesome! ^_^

I'm assuming you never read the main post and that you're just looking at the pictures. And, if you have a suggestion on where to put the cannon then tell me, infact why don't you redesign the base to fix "all your needs." Lastly, I'm just wondering what's your clan and IGN?

No need to be so defensive it is just constructive criticism.

I did read about how you think Wall Breakers will go for the corners, but the splash damage from the Wall Breaker will blow up the corner. The dent will only work for Barbarian's and Giants, just seems like the extra wall and trap could be better used. Maybe if you didn't have two compartments with one item in them the cannon could fit somewhere.

Thanks for this design i Will try this one ! I was using a good one.... But I want to try yours ... I'm having trouble accumulating ressrources.. My attacks are mainly one healer 11 giants 10 wb the rest barch... I think it's costing to much.
