Some of you have posted that if the name and shame is deserved, it should be allowed.
Thats the point exactly, how are we supposed to know if it is deserved or not? What if someone had a personal dispute with another member so they accused the other person of scamming them unfairly?
As moderators, we have no way of knowing which party is telling the truth, so therefore name and shame is not allowed on this forum. Anyone who ignores this rule and continues to post about it will receive an infraction for breaking the rules.
Now let's get back to trading, and be careful out there because trading is done at your own risk.

I hope I don't get "in trouble" for responding but isn't it better to trust the people who say they have been scammed rather than delete the posts about it because they may not be true? I think its better to trust our trading community to be honest and to help protect others like I was trying to do because if we are not allowed to warn others than the scammers see they can just get away with it and will continue doing it. This way us just promoting them to continue to scam others because they see that nothing is being done about it. And that's not fair to those who have been scammed as it is just going to happen more and more because there are no repercussions from it and when we try to warn others, we get "in trouble". I hope it doesn't happen again but if so I will make sure to take screenshots next time as proof. And if there is nothing that can be done to help us then I suggest a trading system be added to hayday where the items for trade go up at the same time and both parties have to confirm it, like silk road online. Also if the posts were left up for a little bit then you will see if another person says they got scammed by the same person and then you should be able to believe it if more than one person says they were scammed by said person.Quote:

Like I said, no not everyone can be trusted. If we could trust everyone to be honest, there would be no scammers, would there? We have even had scammers accuse their victims of scamming them! It is unfair to potentially have someone's name blacklisted when they are innocent.Quote:
