Strategy Guide for Loot, Farming

Hey all,

I just finished my comprehensive guide to loot. If you're trying to convince your friends to stay at their town hall level until all their defenses are maxxed this should help. Let me know what you think.

Very nicely done. :)

Contains all of the relevant information and clearly shows how it changes at each TH level.

Going to nitpick just a tiny bit here, just as an fyi. You had a slide saying 1.6225 million was the maximum loot, usong a TH 7 vs TH 9 as your example. Using that example, it should be 1.622 million, because the loot in the town hall is not subject to the loot multiplier when it is greater than 1 (but it is still subject to reductions). On this same front, a TH 6 attacking a TH 9 could actually get up to 1.946 million combined resources (gold+elixir). Again, this is super nitpicky and virtually irrelevant, and you did a very good job overall! :D

Care to explain to a noob what farming is? I've been lurking about trying to find an answer and figure you might be nice enough to give a clue.

In simple terms "farming" is battling for resources instead of trophies. (you dont care if you win or lose, you only care about how much resources you won.)
Im more complicated terms the definition of "farming" means something different to different people.
But the simple definition I gave is accurate regardless of how each individual decides to further define "farming."

Thanks, very helpful. I guess I can identify myself as a farmer, since I only attack when I think I can win resources.

Some have argued that farming is only done with goblins. I personally farm with barbarians and archers ;)

Thanks, very interesting. Keep on making movies with 'tactical' advices please.
Also interested in some movies on the new update (when it comes out) with the 'improved' AI of the wallbreakers.

For sure, I already have thoughts brewin on a good follow up to this one, these videos take awhile to make so it's hard for me to put one out every day like this.

Thanks! The goal was the most amount of good info packed into the least amount of time. I'll be doing more of these every week.

Alas, your fears are confirmed. Caps/percentages remain the same, but penalties/bonuses just got adjusted.

They never officially release info about this. They haven't even acknowledged that there is a loot penalty.

I have worked that information into my loot guide as well.
