Will the new matchmaking system ruin farming?
I think it will because you'll find people only with kind of the same base as you.
No, I disagree, there are probably more bases to farm since most bases that you find that are lower than you are actually quiet active, I'm not so sure about this though

Do you mean the optional, entirely elective, clan war matchmaking system? Clan war is a completely separate element of the game and has no bearing on your existing game play.
Umm, am I seeing things or is this a one way conversation, and none of it makes any sense!
Will the new matchmaking system work only for clan wars or for attackin altogether?
There is no new matchmaking system for regular multiplayer.

The new matchmaking system is exclusive to matching clans for clan wars. The normal farming match making based on cups is unchanged.
Could you imagine how jacked up match making would be if it were just on base level. So much for a TH9 trophy push. Somebody with 1500 trophy's farming would be very painful when they hit somebody with 3000 cups pushing. lol
As a pretty build up TH10, I can honestly say that farming was never that fun :D
Attacking, with BAM/Barch I have everything I want, and the bases that I'm finding are sweeeet!
In defense, I got my Infernos, X Bow, Wizards and no one goes to the core, not even close!
I'm farming at 2100 cups.
