Decorations after the update

Simple question: After the update, will decorations have any strategic use?

Short answer: no.

But why shoudl they? They are meant to simply be there to look nice, not to strenghten your base.

They will strategically make your base look pretty :p

Decorations were to me a good tactic to cover spawn points and funnel troops towards traps and certain defences. It added more strategy to the game mechanics for those the better understood troop AI.

Does this mean troops can now also spawn over obstacles? ( surely if you can spawn over a Cornflower bed then it would make sense that you could spawn over a mushroom )

I completely agree with this. When I first realized decorations couldn't be spawned on, it made no sense to me. They should purely be there to decorate, not affect game play. I think this change was long overdue.

All people who bought all the flags for 100,000 gold in order to push the spawn areas out really wasted their money.:)

Not really, I bought them when I had full gold and no free builders, so it was either do nothing or buy a flag and raid back the money to being full again. It's more like the people who I raided to pay for them had their gold stolen for naught.

If you're not a farmer, you probably wish you had a nice looking base. :P

♥♥♥♥ 100,000g WOW imagine wasting a whole raid to get enough for that, that's diabolical.

But I do agree that decorations should be spawned upon, I wish we had some sort of 'thief' troop that you could spawn anywhere, just plop them in the middle of a base on top of the TH roof haha
