5 days -> Inflated time = 37 mins 30 seconds = 2,250 Seconds
= 450 seconds per day.

In the bugs sub-forum there is a sticky which lists all known bugs they are working on. This bug is on the list, hope they fix it in the next update cos it's so annoying!

they're looking at it...but that doesn't mean they will fix it.

They don't know why at all yet.

Ppl quantifying it is nice... but it's SuperCell that need to do the work.

Yup.

Hence this thread is asking more people like myself to step forward and provide them with useful datas and information so that this fix can be speed up asap.

I have experienced (and still experiencing) this bug for 4 months already that i gave up ranting about it.
There's been a number of posts regarding it and SC can't seem to fix it. :rolleyes:

indeed..I don't know how many ppl they have in their various programming teams..but it would seem that the ppl in the QA team, either don't work there full time, or they're not as good as the ppl who make up new stuff!

New stuff comes out a lot more than problems get fixed.

I mean, this problem has been documented for months, yet we've had xmas, Xbow(s), DE, Heroes and now Dark troops with no progress on said problem.

Atleast this thread didn't get removed and toss in the bug sub forum, so I guess we can just continue to increase awareness about it.

I personally have a builder planner, and sometimes i will be like
... shouldn't the upgrade be done like half an hour ago.. ?

I started that original thread... (Take note of the jack-waggon mocking me in the second post -- boy was he wrong.)

I've now confirmed ALL my builds take an extra 13 minutes a day.

This became an issue after a long build that added around an hour and a half, which would have been past my bedtime, so I had to gem the finish just to have it finish when it was supposed to. :mad: So, it directly cost me money to get the correct finish time...

This was when I realized what was going on and began timing my builds.

I appreciate Supercell's concern... However, ask yourself this question: If the build times were going faster than planned -- a 1 day build taking only taking 23 hours for example -- don't you think Supercell would figure this out, because it would be hitting their bottom line? Supercell has little motivation to fix this thing.

I counted additional 7.5mins based on my level 5 goblin upgrade above.

An upgrade that is 1 day will take an additional 7.5mins only.

And yeah, this serve as additional revenue for them.

but if you factor that in for say level 6 archer upgrade.

Level 6 archer is 14 days.

14 days = 105 mins = 1 hours 45 mins

According to gem calculator, thats extra 27 gems.

That might not seem much, but thats just for a single player.
What about those level 6 tesla, lv 6 barbs, giants.

Why would they be motivated to fix haha..

Saw numerous posts about this "bug" already. It's an out-of-sync problem between your client and the server. The timers are stored on different locations and they don't always sync perfectly.

Yep, 4 months. I first noticed it in Nov 2012.I keep close track of the upgrade time so I don't have an idle builder. And it just won't finish on the exact time.
The longer the upgrade, the more delay in time.

Yup...TH9 upgrade took an extra 3-4 hours if i recalled correctly. Why would they fix this since its another incentive for us to use gems lol.

Shall see whether my wizard and de drill upgrade for tomorrow night, whether they will share the same value of extra 7.5mins per day..

That's silly. They haven't fixed the troop upgrade bug and that clearly doesn't benefit them. If they wanted the buildings to be more expensive they would just increase the build time. It makes little sense for them to do it like this.

Yes, it's a pretty serious problem, and we hope we can fix it. It would be quite a big task because of the depth of it. It's definitely on the list, and pretty high up it.

But if you really want to do the maths, taking into assumption my calculation of additional 6 mins per day, assuming the person has 5 builders from day 1, and assuming day 1 is september 1st 2012

6*5*(6*30)= 5400 mins extra from day 1 to now, and in gem, thats 599 gems.
