The bugged behavior is what ruins the new wallbreaker
The changes are irritating, but understandable. Forcing it to take up more camp space prevents hiding elixir. Adding a greater level of decision making in the wallbreaker AI made it easier for new or impatient players. I dislike the changes because I think it leads to homogenization in base design and less tactical thinking in attacking a base, but the reasons were clear.
What really irks me is the bug where the wallbreaker continues to widen the same gap. It doesn't seem related to the presence of buildings in the open gap, it doesn't seem related to the distance of the next wall from the open on, nor does it seem affected by enclosed buildings to the sides. I can't reliably reproduce the problem, but it happens and it happens quite often.
Now, I am very careful with what troops I deploy, I'm not a mass wallbreaker spammer like many attackers are. I prefer to send out exactly the right number of bombers at the right time, to blow a targeted partition open. This bug completely screws over my efforts, and has been encountered by every CoC player I've queried.
Supercell would do best to address this bug as quickly as possible, before the frustration from it drives players away from the game.
