Rate my progress

Just started about two weeks ago, i'd love to have you pros take a look at my stats and nudge me in the right direction..



TH4... using 4 workers to upgrade EVERYTHING before going to 5... this seems to be the popular strat around these parts. Hope I am doing this correctly.

(4 gold mines, 4 elixer collectors, 75 walls, 2 army camps etc. Everything to max..)

I have not upgraded the clan castle yet, nor participated in any multiplayer. IS this a mistake? My initial thought process was to sit back for a few months, upgrade to level TH10, and then start multiplayer. Am i making a mistake?
(i still dont understand what farming is, and if its more beneficial than sitting back)

You should definitly go multiplayer man, no reason not to do it! Gives you lots of more gold and elixir, and its basicly half the game

Go check out the "new to clash of clans" sub forum!

You should really do multiplayer attacks that's how you get trophies and the more. Trophies you have the better rewards you'll get from raiding. I am currently finding multiple bases with more than 100,000 resources or each. It will be a lot easier to climbthe town halls with multiplayer attacking but my thought and opinion is to upgrade everything you can before upgrading you town hall good luck

Actually, NO DONT GET TROPHYS. You get placed in fights with stronger players with less loots, try to stay pretty low in trophys. You SHOULD be playing multiplayer though. Farming is when you place your town hall outside for free shields (people just take the town hall for trophys). Yes you will lose some trophys but these really aren't important. Multiplayer is the way to go, and maxing everything is the way to go aswell, forever. You can't max up and till th 10 in a few months, that'll take years, without multiplayer atleast 5 if you don't buy massive amounts of gems.

Thanks for the replies! Everyone has recommended I play multiplayer, and even suggested that the game will take longer without it.. .but no one has explained why. Do buildings build faster on multi? I know there is gold out there to be gained but im never low on gold (due to 4 gold mines and long build times)

My worst fear is that going on multi will attract people to my base. Right now i havet been attacked in a week :D
Another problem is that im worried all my resources will be spent on troops if i become an active miltiplayer too early. Resources that should be spent on building.

So in short, what advantages are there on multiplayer that I am missing out on right now?

Loot. Lots of loot. And just the overall clan experience is made more enjoyable.

Well, the goblins have terrible loot for the high levels, and you can barely get anything from mines and collectors. Plus, multiplayer is basically the whole point of the game.

Multiplayer makes the game a lot of fun. (Besides the loot)

Okay so there arent really any advantages to multiplayer other than possibly gaining more gold. But like i said, i cant spend the gold from my mines fast enough at this point.

Maybe ill check out multiplayer when i reach TH6
