Crowdfunding CoC for BlackBerry 10!

Hi players and CoC creators!

I've been trying many things to link my iPad village with the one on my BlackBerry Q10.. but still i have not got any progress. The most interesting thing- CoC is running perfectly on the square screen of Q10! However, there are some issues with campaign map as it does not adjusts to small square screen :( Nevertheless, I can say that it needs a very little adjustments to run perfectly and be able to transfer your village from other devices to BlackBerry 10 OS powered ones.

Suddenly I came up with an idea! Crowdfunding! Maybe Supercell does not plan coming to blackberry app world or something else. But can they say approximate amount of money they need to spend in order to release CoC to BlackBerry? If it is possible, there goes a chance for blackberry owners to show how much they want to play CoC on their devices!

So, what you think people? Is it possible? Or just a good plan for the failure?

Clash of clans was created on ios then android . It wont be on blackberry because supercell will pay mkre than they gain money because nobody will ever use clash of clans on blackberry. So its money wasting

you probably didn't read what i've written.. read this one carefully, please:

it's written that community will gather money, again i repeat- community will gather money and give it to supercell in order for them to make CoC available on blackberry so that they won't waste any money

i mean we gather money and pay supercell so that will create version for the blackberry

We give them money already though, that is how Supercell makes money. And I understand that you want us to gather money to donate to them, but the will simply not accept it. The fact that they make enough money from people who spend on gems and stuff, they won't need to gather community money. Not that i'm saying they will, because they probably wont, but i'm saying that the community coming together to donate money to them won't work.

2 options -
1) they don't do it. Blackberry customers still can't play
2) they do it and all the people that donated essentially wasted their money by throwing it at a financial giant that has no need for it.

If you're willing to donate so much money for this to be done why don't you just go buy a device that is already coc friendly? That would be much cheaper.

wrong wrong and wrong. Obviously most of you have never used or know a thing about BB10.Look at these screens... the game is fully operational... Now supercell only need to take that apk make some modifications to support the BBW payment system and support saved games through facebook. Blackberry already did 90% of the job with their 4.2.2 android runtime.

BlackBerry users are the second biggest spenders in apps to iOS. android third because of the loads of pirating...

I seen a old 50 year old calculator and it ran faster than a blackberry calculator. Blackberries are dead and useless plastic terds. Stick to andriod and ios the modern swag plus us users who dont want it (99% of the community) will have to wait 2 months for them to port it where as they could be working on updates

You make a lot of bold assertions with no factual backing. How about we talk about calculators. We all know calculators of the variety to which you are comparing did not exist 40 years ago.

CoC is running fine on BlackBerry 10. As stated by OP and others, two items are missing.

1. Payment system integration
2. Cloud linking

BlackBerry has been very supportive of developers. I suspect it would be relatively easy to get a BB version up and running quick. That-is unless someone can offer facts stating otherwise.

One more item: support for square screens: Q5, Q10, Passport

The "single player" attack map (goblins) doesn't render on a square screen ("settings, accessibility, magnify mode" can be used to attack the goblins).

What percentage of Forum Users have a Blackberry that they want to play CoC with?

What dollar amount would each have to give to even make a substantial sum to bribe Supercell into doing this?

Why would someone without a Blackberry give you money to crowdsource this?

Why would I want Supercell to take development time out of updates for a game I'm currently playing just to program something that'll add a few thousand users, if that? Not to mention that I won't be benefiting from?

I didn't realize Blackberry still made phones. I thought they died when iPhones started the real Smart Phone revolution...


Go to KickStart and get it started. See how much you can get committed to it and make the offer to Supercell.

I'd think it'd probably need to be well within the six figures for them to bother.

No one uses Blackberries anymore..... If you are I recommend you through it straight into the bin and get an Iphone 5

From my own experience, I was using Samsung Galaxy S3, and then I moved to BB10 because the operating system was better. I am not fan of Android, and I had no problem with getting all the Android applications that I was using on my BB10, except for Clash of Clans, which I have not played for a while. The game works fine, just like all other Android applications, except that it requires Google Play Services in order to login to Google+.

From business point of view, I do not have statistics or evidence that shows that you are going to gain from this. But, the biggest issue that I have found articles about in Blackberry forums is syncing and backing up Clash of Clans. There are endless threads in the official Blackberry forum (Crackberry) asking for that, and too many were closed, just because another users are having the same issue.

All I can say for a fact that if you saw 10 threads about a certain subject, then there are probably hundreds of people searching suffering from this problem.
