Common mistake when building bases

The he work u put into this is commendable but a mistake u and most others make is the placement of defenses side by side or even the common core of xbow de storage xbow n cc in a square. When u have defenses touching one another or touching important storages u leave ur self open to balloons destroying everything with only attacking one defense. If u had ur xbow de storage xbow cc center, and a loons attack one xbow, ud lose all ur de when the loons destroy ur one xbow. It's vital when building a base to leave room between the bldgs. This also helps add to possible trap locations. The more open spots the less sure the attacker is of where your traps are. Most don't do this nor even mention it. If ur not attacked be splash damage troops then ur ok. But pray u don't see any valks or loons.
one other important thing is to separate ur xbows. If u have them in one compartment, it's easy to destroy both. U get troops in there and drop a rage and it's over. By putting a wall between them, u increase ur odds of having one xbow (or inferno tower or any def) still standing at the end of ur successful defense. High level attackers will all say, they love cores with a lot of defenses in there. Easier to take out all at once.
