upgrading x-bow

Hi,
Is it "worth" upgrading the xbow to lvl2?

Thing is, i got TH9 couple weeks ago, and im wondering if i should get all wiz to lvl 6, or save up the gold for 1 xbow to lvl 2?

Everyone knows that as SOON as you hit TH9, you save up for the tesla and xbows.
But what about the upgrades?
Can the xbow wait while i upgrade wiz towers and teslas and archers?
Or should i upgrade xbows as soon as i can?

It kind of seems like they made it SOOOOO expensive because they want you to wait for TH10 or at least until the rest of your defense is pretty high lvl/maxed((??))

I built the xbows then started my Wiz Tower upgrades as fast as possible. I always try and upgrade splash defense then air defense then cannons.

teslas and wiz towers should go before x bows cause the xbows at lvl1 is kinda alright until u ready to upgrade them and focus on the splash defenses first would be best.

Seem like you are a premmie and not ready for th9. I say you should get ur wiz towers to th8 lvl and then do xbows

just do them get them over and done with

Im already way too deep in TH9, no going back hehe ;)

Im a bit premature imo, but it havnt given me any real "premmie" challenges yet.. all my troops are maxed, working on lab 7 now. All cannons are golden, 1 wiz is lvl 6, working on rest now, all mortars are golden as well (in 1 day..) hehe

I know im not maxed, but i feel good about being th9 thus far :)

lvl 1 x-bows look outta place, make u look like a premmie and a noob, and the HP is really low. lvl 2 x-bows nice HP, look cooler and better, plus more damage. and u should already have 3 lvl 6 wiz towers going into TH9...

Im not into the whole "MAX EVERYYTHING BEFORE GOING TO TH X!!!!!"

Find it pretty boring with so few towers/buildings/walls. Trying to find that golden middle way ;)
(let me just explain this b4 someone rages on me.. I find that if you want to MAX everything before you go to next TH, the upgrades get really expensive, and your left with only 1mill+++ for next upgrade, and i find it easy to get stuck with 1-2-3 workers not working because i cant afford the next upgrade yet. Since i started another acc on clash of clans i have gone to next TH a bit premmie, and i have not had 1 worker sleep on me for more than a few hours tops. <-- Not saying this is the way to go, but it makes it alot more fun.. for me at least.)

Let me explain how I dealt with this issue. It's quite simple.

You just have to plan ahead. You look at what upgrades you want to do in a particular order, and also consider how long each upgrade takes. From there, your prioritize certain upgrades based on when your next builder will become free.

For the majority of TH9, I was able to have my builders spread out so that one would become free every 1-2 days. 1-2 days of no free builder means I can fill my storage between 5-8 mil worth of gold or elixir. Then I can dump those resources into a gold upgrade, or an elixir upgrade. I can alternate if I like, so that I can focus on gold for 2 days, then focus on elixir for 2 days if I wish. All extra gold gets dumped into walls EACH TIME a builder is free. That way, I don't get stuck with tons of walls left near the max level of a particular TH. This is a key step.

If I'm busy and don't have enough gold or elixir to upgrade when a builder becomes free, I still have dark elixir upgrades to occupy a builder.

It's all about time management. Even if upgrades are expensive, if you plan it out properly, you won't have no builders for 6 days then all of a sudden 3 builders available within a few hours. That's poor planning and makes it hard to save up enough for expensive upgrades.

This way, you can still max out your base without wasting builder time.

I say you max your splash, then do xbows straight to L3. Max splash should keep your resources safe while your bows are under the hammer.
