Another "should I go TH10" thread.

Sup dudes. Here it is, another thread questioning whether I should go to TH10 or not.
What you need to know:

- 38 or so L9 walls left - easily done in less than 14 days.
- There's no way in hell I'm doing L10 walls.
- Bombs can all be upgraded one more level as TH9 except Seeking Air Mines which are L1.
- BK is upgrading to L17 and AQ is at L15. I average 80k/week DE more or less.

What would you say? Get my TH upgrading now or do _____ first?

hi I am also TH9 and I have worked out what I will do but you are defo ready i am going TH10 on the 1st of july I now have lvl10 bk and lvl 7 aq and 80 lvl8 walls the rest lvl7 I mean I will have all lvl8 walls maybe a few lvl9
anyway chose what you think is best

Do what you feel you would want to do.

If you want to stay at TH9 and finish walls/heroes/lab, then by all means max, as you will feel more satisfied once finished.
You say you can finish your walls in less than 14 days, perfect. The town hall takes 14 days to upgrade so kinda perfect timing.

If you want the toys at TH10, then go to TH10. I for one didn't want to waste my time staying at TH9 when I can still do all those things plus more. This of course was my personal choice, and have never looked back, as it is what I wanted to do.

So, my answer is simple. What is it YOU want to do :)

Go for it, its pointless to sit on 5 free builders forever.

I say that you should do what you want to do. You are readier than 90% of new th 10's so you'd do fine no matter what you choose, wheather is it staying and maxing th 9 or going to th 10 for new toys and challenges

I'm not quite that far yet but I think I will do all lvl 9 walls and heroes to 20 or 25 before I head up. Hard to push extremely high without good heroes.

Thanks. I know it's up to me and what I wanna do but I just wanted to check if you guys would say "you need to do the bombs" and stuff. Or "go to L20 heroes as DE farming is harder on TH10". Going to upgrade today or tomorrow then.

th. do the walls. people are saying farm the heroes first however, a 3rd drill and wheres your main income of de? probs th9 and th10 - a lot say its easier to farm de at th10 - just go into higher leagues.

Agree with others, you're ready, only do heroes and walls for achievement.

I'm not TH 10, but I don't see how this is possible, virtually all the good DE grabs come from TH 9+. You'll have a stronger army to get it and a third drill to offset the minor penalty when stealing from a TH 9.

Now gold and elixir on the other hand...

Indeed. A TH10 can farm and keep DE better than a TH9 by far! If L9 walls is your end point. You'll have months left to max heroes after you've finished every single defense building. Even if you start your TH10 upgrade right now. So what exactly are you still waiting for?

TH10 can sound so beneficial at times, but I want to max out TH9 all the way. Defenses are all done, I have 42 wall nubs to go before I start the 10's, my valks are headed to level 3, and my heros need some work. Plus, I want to be in Sky 9 again! :rolleyes:

I think that reason alone would be a good point to stay at th9! :P

I kinda have level 20 for heroes as a goal for th9 but in all honesty I miss raiding to get new stuff. And I know I can easily get them to 20 at the same speed or even faster (comparing to me doing it as a TH9). Walls is boring as hell! L10 walls are absolutely not worth the time in my opinion - I'm not doing them ever :p

Oh and ofc I wanna party with them discos too..... :)

Oh bud there's stuff yet to be upgraded in my lab such as valks (never doing them? Haha), golems (don't see myself doing GoWiWi soon enough) and witches (same reason). All others are toptop.

As far as getting to your clan.. I don't really have a competitive clan (at all actually) so I don't need to worry with that stuff :)

Dude go to th 10 Plenty of loot there dont let this little fools trick you cause they too scared to jump the gun - Get them INFERNOES lvl 6 minions and Wizards and The New mine, pump and drill - Increase army Camp Size and spell factory - you will trample th 9s
and Have plenty fun on defense watching people fail :D OFFENSIVE all the way bro

I'm assuming you are using large armies to get stores. Anyone who barches for gold knows that net gain in TH10 is almost halved than when in TH9. Higher next cost, more next presses and 50% loot penalty for TH8.

I've farmed all my Legos + Lavas at TH9 in 4 months, currently new to TH10, finished farming my infernos L3 and almost 20 zap walls. Zap walls cost only 1mil more than Lavas but it takes me about twice as long to farm a zap wall than the speed I farm my Lavas at in TH9. Sometimes, loot is so dry I can barely break even with next costs.

That being said, OP, as long as you're happy with the current level of your walls and have completely maxed our your base at your TH level, it's time to move to the next TH.

I think that's the only difference between you and I. You chose to do your heros and I chose to do my troops. I'm ashamed to admit this, but they're aren't even in the double digits yet. :( Both my King & Queen are level 8. You sound like a really good TH9 player though! I hardly see too many of them these days.

Sky 9 was a clan that lasted a week, competing against another clan (friendly competition) to get higher than the other, but at the end the top players merged forming an even stronger clan for top 55 worldwide! All TH9's! :o
To each is own though, TH10 a lot more beneficial than TH9.

I'd do those walls first then upgrade.

I just finished level 8 walls and my heros are BK-10 and AQ-15 and I just started my TH10 upgrade. I want to test out the IT and I hope it will make my hog problems go away.

It took me 2.5 months to get walls from Skulls to Legos. Triple that and thats what I'd have to wait until Lavas were done ;) Not happening, but its a personal choice. Takes too much imo.

Yup I never really cared that much about DE troops until I started using loonions. Minions and hogs are maxed (well hogs are about to be). That clan thing sounds awesome. I honestly wish my clan was more active and competitive. Most of them live exactly in the opposite side of the world from me lol.

Feminism much? ;) Nah, kidding. I don't really have hog problems. Even when I'm pushing I don't. I mean... A good hog attacker added a bit of luck and can get 100% on any TH9. I've been 100%ed on my anti-hog setup by hogs. Oh well. 8/10 fail.

One more question though: should I leave a builder free to make some walls/not let storages fill completely when the upgrade is done?
