Bases for Clan Wars

Along with the issue that we'll have to deal with two base redesigns per week (assuming you want to actually participate fully in both regular CoC and CW), there also seems to be another problem with the prep day / battle day thing.

Are we going to have to sit around on prep day all day with our "clan wars build" waiting for supercell to "store" that layout for the upcoming day or will we be able to 'submit' the build we want to use? From the way it reads, unless we plan on using the exact same layout we normally do, we'll have a 24 hour period where we will have to play with our clan wars build all day before we can finally manually switch back once the layouts are locked in.

I like the concept overall, but being able to 1) save a CW build and 2) submit that build whenever we wanted on preparation day are huge. I can see a lot of people, including myself, abstaining from CW after the first round or so, when they tire of the tedium of constantly rebuilding week in and week out.

I don't think most clans will care at all to be honest.
The way I see it most players won't wanne change their base every time and gonna abandon CW soon.

Imo CW will be mostly played by the full time pushers, who have farmed/gemmed their base already to max anyway and don't need to keep resources protected.

I use a switch base. Only need to move 6 walls and a Mortar! It's pretty awesome I think.

I think we may have to switch or just use a hybrid for the time being, but id say SC would be already working on or may even already have the switch base feature..They would already have thought of this so im betting they will have it done or atleast on the way

Is it just me, or do a lot of ppl in this thread saying they will switch to a 'hybrid' base actually mean to say a 'transformer' base??

A hybrid base is one that equally protects the TH as well as loot.

A transformer base is one that can easily switch between farming and trophy pushing modes just by moving a few buildings.

So by the sounds of it, people are wanting a transformer base for when CW comes out, am I mistaken? :confused:

I have a type of ringus that is easy to change so yeah also there are so many posts about clan wars and it isn't even out yet
