Gem Prices are too High

Hi Cheifs,

I've been trying to get gems for a while, doing missions and breaking obstacles etc. I'd been thinking about buying some gems for money, even though $5.50 was a little overpriced for 500 gems. Right when I'm about to buy - guess what happened? The price for 500 gems went from $5.50 to $6.49! How annoying do you think that is?

My point is, I think the price of gems should go down buy a dollar or two. Maybe their should be a gem sale of 10% off? This is just my opinion, please comment and tell me what your opinions are about the gem price.

I'm looking at the prices now, and the Chest of 14000 gems has had it's price increased by $21.50! Is anyone else out there starting to think the prices are rip-offs?

Well i think there good as they are but maybe on holidays they could like have a code to get 10% off or stuff like that i think that would be awesome and they would get a spike in buying on days like that

What country do you live in? Apple changed some in app prices in certain countries because we all don't have the same currency. Supercell would never change the prices without announcing it

Same story as you. I went to the shops , i bought a 10$ gift card came home, TO WHAT , GEM PRICES BEING DRAMATICALLY BOOSTED, THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. This is a scam how it won't let you evenly buy enough gems, i buy a 10$ gift card and i can only buy 1 lot of 6.49$ gems. IS THIS A JOKE!

The truth is: Apple raised the gem prices for some countries, Supercell would never raise the prices w/o saying so. It's not Supercell's problem, go to Apple and protest.

Many of us petitioned to have the gem cost in the game lowered and supercell listened. They can not control the cost the provider amends. However SC has worked with the players to make the game fun and affordable.

Personally, I am happy with where the costs are right now.

£2.99 for 500 gems is very reasonable. If you find 500 gems unaffordable then I'm not sure how you managed to buy a devise to play clash with.

Take it up with Apple...

it costs me 70 pound sterling for 14000 gems. insane.

If you are patient you don't need gems. I bought $10 worth one time and I wish I hadn't done it. I just wanted my level 9 Town Hall done. I learned this whole game is about being patient when choosing an attack as well as upgrading.

I live in Australia, and it's $6.49 for 500 gems. It's a bit high for just 500 gems. Maybe supercell should just make more achievements that we can obtain gems from?

Yeah I think they should at least have a gem sale, 10 or 20% off or something. That would get a lot of people buying gems too.

I would like to buy more green stones, but they are too expensive, reduce the price, I will buy once a day, you also would be advantageous))

They should reduce it or let you buy 250 gems for half the price of 500 or 750 for the price of 250+500

1: Sales would make supercell lose profits, would you like them to have a sale and then shut down?
2: As I said before Apple is the one who raised the prices for some countries like Australia. Supercell didn't raise the prices, I bet you that if you open another app with in-app purchases you'll see that the prices are raised for that too. Complain to Apple HQ in Silicon Valley. Supercell had nothing to do with this! Why doesn't anyone read my posts??!!?

Why would apple raise the prices on another app? That would just give the SUPERCELL more money if someone actually bought gems.

I feel as though they are very expensive. IE Australian dollars they are 6.49 for 500. Thats a bit too much

I've had it with "the prices are too high in Australia". I'm from Australia so you can't say I'm some ♥♥♥♥♥ that doesn't know anything about it. Supercell choose prices according to the global currency. If 1(aus) (australian dollar) = .5 (us) american dollar of course if 500 gems cost lets say 2 dollars America you would have to pay 4 dollars in australia. Also we can earn 6 dollars an hour in australia while in America the wages are way lower so if you are complaining STOP. suck it up and get realistic this game is about patcience not just about gem gem gem.

C'mon supercell, I did notice this change and was looking for a thread on it. OUTRAGED!

It could be good if they reduced it :)

Nobody is pushing you to buy gems, it's your choise to buy them or not

Supercell may not have control over the prices of the gems due to international differences in currency, but they DO control how much the gems are worth IN-GAME. I think the best solution to this would be to keep the prices the same but raise the effect of gems. In other words, gems should get you more upgrade time, more resources, etc. of course why even bother hoping for this. Clash is pretty blatantly designed to be a giant money-grab. Why would sc listen to the players when listening would mean they make less profit? In the end everything they do to this game is for the money. So don't expect anything

I'd just like to know.... WHY DID APPLE RAISE THE PRICE OF GEMS IN AUSTRALIA FROM $5 TO $6.50? Is there an actual reason for this?? $6.50 for a couple of gems that can't even afford to skip a couple of days on your town hall is a waste, gem prices should be lowered.

you guys in amercia have only to pay 5$
1$ is less than 1Fr.!!!
i think that's the reason why the prizes in amercia are higher now
