That's kinda over the line. Of course they need to make money. How about constructive ideas instead of just ripping?

I have an idea to make people happier with fishing events.
modify it so no BEM, SEM, LEM are given. Add variety of vouchers and the number given... I just got 2 wood panels... which I get all the time while farming... I wish I could change them into planks...
variety of fish is not good for me, as I won't create purple or gold vouchers, even outside the event... and yeah... less fishing events... I don't mind them for now, but, I guess I will be sitting them out when I get the big game fisher achievement... 3,544 out of 6,000 lbs to go...
this is a list of events that I decided to put together... to better guess what event would come next... and I was right, by the way.
february 13th: Cookie event (global)
february 20th: boat event season (not double coin)
february 27th: Fishing event
March 6th: double coin and voucher boat event
March 13th: fishing event (to cover past event?)
March 20th: Truck event (double coin)
March 27th: boat event season (not double coin)
April 3rd: Fishing Event
"Cooool!!" That is my reaction when I learn about the new event. Why? Because there will be fish and fish product in the market for me to buy. I don't need to go fishing :cool:.
In my opinion, this is one of the event that has positive effect on what you can buy from the newspaper (the other one is Global River Boat event).
List of event currently available: double price truck order, double price visitor, double voucher river boat, global river boat, global donation for one particular item.
It's so disappointing that the event is fishing AGAIN! I mean, come on! There must be a financial reason to repeat it so often when there are obviously so many imaginative alternatives. And why do folks get so defensive of SC for goodness sake? They are running a profitable business dependent on customer satisfaction. Isn't it better to let them know when their customers are getting bored and frustrated? It's certainly taking the excitement out of the events for me.
Now that we have neighbourhoods it would be much more fun to have events where we can help and support each other as a team instead of being stuck watching Angus smoking his pipe! I'm ready for permanently locking him in the tackle box.

But rather than trash SC, why not make suggestions to elevate the event into something you would enjoy :) There is no rule stating we have to participate in every event, it's an added bonus :p
Yes, they do make money on the events, but in reality we don't pay a dime (if you don't want to), the game is free and they have to pay out some big dollars so we can enjoy this game :) So take a breath, relax and enjoy your farm :D

I don't mind if the events are repeated.
What I want is vouchers and expansions and diamonds of course. So I prefer ANY global event.
The double coin ones give only coins which I never want.
I am not at my home place and cannot play Hay Day.
I wish I had a chance to participate in this event.
Can anyone tell me if the global qualification is on which goal
