Fishing event? Again? Why?

Ok we just had a fishing event not to long ago. We've been having fishing events every other week. I'm so sick of fishing. Why not change it up & have another event? You have had some great events SC that DIDN'T have to deal with fishing. Why not have one of those. One event i haven't seen in a LONG time is the visitor event (little people event). That was my favorite event. Did you realize people figured out how to make alot of coin or was that event not making you much money or maybe both. I know I'm not the only one sick of fishing. Do you do this event because its the one that makes you the most money? You want to make money? The please do an event OTHER THAN fishing!!! If you keep repeating the same event then people will get mad, annoyed, and bored with it & it'll be the opposite effect of what you were going for: you'll lose money instead of making it. People are getting tired of fishing. Okay I know this is a game & blah blah blah I'm taking it too seriously blah blah blah but this game is my favorite game but if the event is always going to be the same every week or every other week then I'm not playing anymore. Please excuse my ranting but I just wanted SC to see this. If anyone has the same views/opinions as me (or not) then please post on this thread & explain. I don't care if mods move this thread or not, I just wanted people to get a chance to see this.

I said after last fish event that I would not take part in another fish event. Last fish event I got bolts, tape & screw, no vouchers.

I am sitting this one out.

agreed. I refuse to actively participate in this event. (Just doing red worms when I need fish) we've had 3 fishing events in the past 6 weeks.

I also think they might be making a good amount of money with the fishing event, else there is no reason of having the fishing event so frequently.

Personally i don't mind fishing at all, but having so many fishing events within 1 month is getting quite boring.
Its been a long time since we had the Visitor Event, or any other new type of event introduced by SuperCell team.

If they are just going to keep rotating the same couple of events I think people won't bother participating any more. I thought the point of the events was to liven things up, but this is just boring.

I don't understand why they seem to have given up on the global events where everyone contributes cookies or popcorn etc. Some were a pain, but the popcorn and jumpers one only tied up one machine. As a higher-level player I liked the challenge of those as I am not as bothered about coins.

Agree completely. I don't mind the occasional fishing event. It's not my favorite, but, hey, everyone likes different things. But the exact same event for the third time in six weeks? Blah, boring. At least change it up and have it be double fillets if you use something other than a worm lure. Or double xp for fishing. Or, I dunno, a free lobster with every fish caught. Or a voucher with every 5 fish caught to help replace all the vouchers we burn up - which I am definitely doing this time.

I like variety in these events, and that's why HD has appealed to me so much - the creativity of the SC team in changing up events. We look forward to the Thursday night start of a new event, waiting, speculating, plotting out whether we should buy types of items if it's single-item event.

Come on, SC, do little people or double money on truck orders or boat orders of maybe a single machine just for a limited period for us all to have and grow crops just for that machine, and it disappears at the end of the event, something fun and new.

Yawn. Oh, dear, that is the worst thing that can happen to a game.
