True, but mass hogs cook under 30-40 minutes. With a boosted SF you can have 4 heal spells ready to go in that time. More then easy to slam out a number of raids in a session. As long as you net 1-2K de per raid you should easily be able to sustain that army for a while and turn a strong gold profit.

Mass drags costs close to 700K elixir(counting troops and 5 spells) for one raid and takes 1:30hrs. No one farms with mass drags and no one farms with GoWiWi (another 2 hr army). Lots of guys farm with hogs. Probably one of the strongest armies you can cook under 40 minutes. Probably stronger then balloons when farming TH9.

Once my wiz towers and xbows finished upgrading at th9 i made an anti hog base...

It works... Very well...

I am at 2900 trophies and get hogged all the time... I logoff and /pray hogs try to hit me, even th10 hoggers. The best they have done is one two stars the rest half have failed or only squeaked out a 50%. Every attack with giants have failed, and gowiwi gets only two stars with moderate heroes...

I have won about 50% of my defenses... As a th9 in the middle of masters.

Bring on the hogs, I will chew em up. You nerf them, I will see more air attacks and gowiwi which win more often, so think about it... What would you rather get hit by? Armies that lose regularly to bases that can defend them? Or get barrages of dragons and gowiwi constantly?

Please reread the orginial post. He is not talking about cupping, but farming. Now go gem your gold stores to max in masters and post your defense logs. Love to see how much loot you lost on those cup "wins"......

beauty of the game is you don't have to attack anyone you don't want to. Just press next till you find someone with loot worth taking. If a player wants to use all their de to farm it's none of your business, it's theirs.

And to be clear, my hogs are level 1, I reach champ league with balloons, not hogs. I just understand the fight because I too get hogged fairly often and I know how frequently they're used in higher leagues like masters.

Loons and minions just took 3k de from meee. Nerf them while we're nerfing things:mad:........jk

My base is a hybrid base, when I'm farming i move the elixir stores and townhall out and gold stores in... It performs even better in gold... I loot 100 times more gold than is taken from me with my antihog type base.

The vast majority of attacks on a decent th9 in gold farming are giant attacks, not hogs, and those are just weak attacks, easy to fend off. With proper funneling and deflection they get nothing. Like i said, hogs bounce off a good base, you can have both.

If farming... Move th out and elixir storages out... Most ppl will take the easy elixir and the th. While beating on your th and elixir stores, their army is cut way down. If they don't, they are hoggers and your anti hog design takes them out.... I fail to see the issue.
