We had a clan trophy push on for the last week. Since I hit Crystal 2 every single attack on my base has been hogs. I am a fully maxxed Th9 working on walls so about 40% of them fail but still. every single attack? This doesnt set off warning bells for anyone? That literally only one attack strategy is used? To me this screams unbalanced.

the cost to train enough Hogs to attack you sometimes makes it not worth it.

you whiners need to face reality and learn not to care when you are demolished.. just raid other people.

you don't think other people are complaining when you bash them 100%?

Wait until masters then. 17 of my 20 defenses have been mass hogs... and I assure you, 40% of them will not be failing as the attackers are much smarter.

Again, I don't think this means there is an unbalance. Clashers really only use 5-6 troop combos when you look at the grand scheme of things. If that is the case should we nerf loonions? GoWiWi? What about healers or giants for the millions that use only that strategy from TH7-TH10?

The thing to learn here is that you just have to adapt the best you can to the trophy range you are in. I know at 2800-3000 as a TH9 I'm going to get hit with hogs almost every time (although last night I was hammered with GoWiWi which was hilarious to watch!) so I do my best to make sure my base is designed for them to only get 1-2 stars. I'm okay with it.

If they nerf hogs again, they will be basically useless like before they made their priority defenses. Imo, they should be and are still used through crystal+ leagues. You need to make an anti-hog farming base if you're having so much trouble with them. Hogs are not op anymore. Also, the townhall 9 loot is in gold 1. Hope this helps.

i am not complaining. As I said a fair amount of the attacks fail, but SC is a company that has nerfed troops and spells in the past because they were used too much and they wanted to sponsor diversity in the game yet between Crystal 2 and masters 3 I have seen only one attack strategy being employed. Thats not really diverse, now is it?

Edited to add: I did have one failed loonian attack that gave me 31 trophies last night so in a week of attacks one slightly interesting replay
