I'd do golem. I wouldn't use witch more if Level 2, but would like to try level 5 golem.

And if they are both already upgrading (like in my case),
I would go for the witch.
Simply because I can donate maxed L2 witchies in my clan,
but L3 goleys in a CC are useless.

I was in the same position not long ago. I went with witches lvl 2 since giants can be used until master 2 area.
I've had no regrets 👍
Witch, especially with clan wars on the horizon. Witch is an excellent cc troop for defense. The Golem, when donated for defense is a waste of DE.
