Remove cheap shield

I'm a near-maxed th 10, and I still think this is an awful idea. I would literally lose millions of resources every time I went to sleep, because nobody has ever gotten 50% on my current base (I've had it for about 4 months now). Thus, people would lose, and lose, and lose some more, and I'd still end up losing because they'd all take a little bit of gold, or take out my cc troops, or my traps. If you're so worried about Champ play being fair (I don't know why, you're light years away from there) why not propose a change only for Champ?

I agree, but if they do--there is a loot cap.And you still get a shield..even maybe for 16 hours, not 12.The same thing will happen if your Th is outside if you have loot.It won`t save you.Sometimes some poor snipper will save you and then comes the dilemma-should I brake my shield and attack again?Let`s suppose you do..and then what?Another snipper comes up?Really?If you have a good base TH shoudn`t be an issue.I have been th8(inside ) for over two months now and been 3starred only5-6 times.Sometimes I don`t get attacked for over a day or two...

They said clan wars wont affect farming or trophy pushing, it's just something extra. If you actualy watched all the videos on clan wars you would see you dont lose loot or trophies when raided in clan wars, you wouldn't even have to put your th inside as it isn't your actual base that is raided(it's just a copy of your base as it was when the preparation time ended) you could put your th inside in the last minute of prep time then when that is saved put it back out again. i think its safe to say you have no clue what you are talking about and clan wars will have no affect on farming.

I find this funny, since you yourself are 'judging' the 'Farming culture' in this game (and those that support and use the farming exposed-TH methodology as a viable and effective strategy to retain loots) and on top of that are advocating for them to spend money on gems for shields... ? do you work for Supercell or something?

BTW I replied to your other thread.. I think I bring some interesting points to your 'disapproval' with supporting arguments for the Farming culture in this game.

I believe if we could all just buy a bunch of gems then the leaderboard would go to 4K + trophies and the strategies would be vastly different then they are now. again its a choice, and a viable strategy (that is effective, and Everyone can utilize this strategy should they choose, at any TH level. so since all can use it then nothing about it is unfair or cheap to other players IMO)

I dont thing it'll happen.

Actually clan wars doesn't work like that. Everything will be the same except for a new feature called clan wars. The game doesn't force us to participate in clan wars and we can still do solo attacks. There are 2 days consisting of clan wars. One day for preparation and one for attacking. During the preparation phase, you can change your base to trophy pushing and the game takes a copy of your base then you can change it back to farming. The copy the game took will be used for the base the other clan attacks instead of the base you changed it back to. This way you can farm while you are in clan wars

How about you spend $4000 on the game, get a max TH 10 and go to champs so you can go to war... in peace (pun intended).

Supercell would like that.

It would be nice if you came up with an idea to replace the "OMG TH outside cheap shield glitch" with something that would help farmers also who must keep their TH inside because of your brilliant idea. I can see it now.......

1- traps automatically reset
2- ITs and xbows automatically reload
3- because of 1 and 2, all abandoned bases are rendered financially unraidable for lower townhalls like yours.
4- your 6-7 months playing goes down the drain cause now you can't raid anyone anymore without losing elixer
5- your brain implodes from irony
6- shortly before you enter a vegetative state, you come back and complain to SC to change it back, and admit you were wrong
7- world is back to normal, and all TH go back outside to play with snipers

You can't have everything. This game is made up of long periods of peacetime with short spurts of war. Your idea basically removes peacetime... which would be fine if everyone was always maxed at all times. but that's not the case. The shield is designed to help someone rebuild. we can't do that if we are constantly getting attacked for resources.... which is what unprotected townhalls inhibit.

As was said in your other thread (which you are obviously not monitoring anymore, but you should... a lot of people have grasped on to your post and torn your idea to shreds.... they deserve a response -.-), Townhall doesn't actually do anything. Its a big builders hut. that's all. and it takes up a lot of space. space for an extra defense in your core. space to make your CC unlurable. Space to make your DE virtually untouchable. it does NOTHING. So why not put it outside? The rewards GREATLY outweigh the risks.

This is a game about CURRENCY. There are different currencies in the game. 6 to be exact. Gems. Gold. Elixer. Dark Elixer. Troops (CC). And... yes, TROPHIES. Trophies are a very important currency, that some people don't care about. Is there something wrong with that? no. some people have max defense and walls so..... what can they do with gold? they can't give it away... some people have max heroes and DE troops. do they really need 200,000 de? no. so what youll see is, since the storages have so many hitpoints, they will use them as a deterrent for enemy troops to hit while the troops are getting destroyed by defenses. the attacking player gets gold or DE that the defender doesn't want anyway. is that so wrong? No. There's nothing wrong with giving away something you don't want.

that includes trophies.

A game of currency... would you pay 10 trophies, 1,000 gold and elixer to protect 600,000 gold and elixer and 3000 DE? That's fine if you say no. everyone has their preference. Just know that your townhall being inside will only put a target on your back and ALL OF US will take every resource you have. Thanks in advance. Daddy need a new pair of shoes!
