So I'm trophy pushing to Crystal...

I'm only TH6 but I want to push and stay in the higher leagues for the loot and to attract more people to the clan I am in. I have been just sniping town halls but I have just wondered... Is it possible at all to actually stay up there other than that and cheap shielding. I mean I was originally just going for it for the gems but I would rather do it and actually make an effort to stay... I mean if it really is impossible to do that now I guess I could just stay in Gold III...

So... Anyone know any specific base layouts or attack strategies for when you go up into Gold and up? I mean even in Silver 1 I find it hard to TH snipe...

imho its pointless to try and stay there as a th6.

Bases are too strong for you to crack and you will be trampled on continually.

You will progress quicker and learn more in lower leagues.

TH 6 is too weak, even with TH7 I had a hard time with 1800

There is a th7 in champs and th3 in champs or master or something like thar

Sorry, but it's very easy for a th6 to stay in crystal, and especially a th7. Now, is it a good idea for them to stay there? No, not if they want access to easy to get loot. But for achievement reasons...it's not hard.

There's no reason for you to stay at crystal league. Even if you win attack, you don't have dark elixir storage to keep the league bonus.

My leader a few months back hit masters only by snipping.He was lv 51 . Not sure if it was late th6 or early th7

im now a th7 and im enjoying my time in crystal 2.. with just th sniping, im able to stay here for two weeks now and i am enjoying the loot bonus.. i am still able to find bases with very good loot. my strategy is to build up enough trophies so that whenever someone stronger wipes me out, i will still be able to stay in the league and i make sure to use the free shield. dont give up :)

Im sure its possible - we had a bit of a race up there last season and I managed ok as a TH7.

activity is key - accept that you're going to lose defences 99% of the time so make sure that the trophies you earn while online are more than you're likely to lose being wiped out.

barching works well (i use 3:1 archers to barbs), if you look for the bases with centred splash defences and plenty of outer buildings then its easy to get 50% more often than not... this coupled with th sniping is easily enough.

plus with barching, the winning bonus more or less pays for your troops in crystal! :)

OP go for it. That's basically the blueprint I used some 4 months ago or so when I started APOTHEOSIS. We now have 4 clans.

Being in higher leagues help but being an active leader is even more important.
