I am dumbfounded as to why my Th isn't getting sniped. I am in crystal 2 lvl 112 with a fully exposed Th in the Northwest corner. Yet, my last 5 attacks over 2 days have been full on raids that have, on the most part, avoided my Th. These attacks have all happened after I have been offline for about 30 minutes.
I find it very annoying as each of these attackers are awarded 100k gold (sometimes more) for taking out just 1storage. So, is it just my luck or is this happening to others aswell?
Happened to me last 2 days wasn't getting attacked at all but when it happened thay 100 percented me :(
By the sounds of it your storages are full giving people enough incentive to do a full attack on you. Try to spend all your loot before you go offline
before i hit TH9, i was sitting on all full storages, I was fully maxed just waiting for builders so I decided to put gold storages next to TH since my collectors would get back what i lost anyway. Lots of time i went hours without getting attacked, so TH outside and next to it 300k free gold, matchmaking is really weird sometimes. I was in crystal 3 at the time btw, had just finished farming DE
Mine haven't been 100 percenters, but 40-55%ers, still annoying though that I've been losing so much gold 700k in 2 days.Quote:

You'll get sniped in 10min if you're in crys 1, especially over 2500 trophs.
Very simple... People play the game for only two reasons, resources and cups... You might have both... if they took you only one storage and got 100k you might have 400k available...
I'm a farmer but sometimes I cup chase... when I try to go for cup, or to farm up to crystal or master... I always try to spend as fast as I get my gold on wall... or defenses, if I have enough.
What happened, it was someone farming, who saw a good opportunity to get some cups to maintain the league and the the resources, cause he was farming...
Normally I would get sniped within 10mins in crystal 2 but the snipers seem to be gone.
No matter where I go, I get town hall sniped 90% of the time. I don't know why people aren't sniping you, usually there are tons of TH7s and 8s trying to get to masters for the gems who will snipe anything.
Crystal 1 Master 3 is a ghost town maybe you should farm there, takes hours to get attacked when you log off.:rolleyes:

I no longer snipe townhall if they're th9 and lower, because it's very likely that they'll revenge me with lightning, so I'd rather go all out.
At the moment iam waiting on th to finish not worried abt getting attacked got only de in my storages. Wull start farming 2 days before th gets done ;)

They don't attack your TH because they don't care about it and if you offer 100k per storage that's definitely attractive to farmers.

Its a win/win for them especially if you're offering 200-300k each. Wouldnt you do the same?
Is it a trapped th? If it is, put decorations around it and far from defenses and you will have your snipe pretty fast
I put 1 elixir storage behind my th so they snipe my th in 1-2 hr time.

OP it would be useful to see a screenshot of your base as there probably is some reason why you're not getting sniped that you may have missed. I often leave my TH exposed when I am in the crystal lges and it usually gets sniped within 5 minutes of logging off.
If I see an exposed TH I will often snipe it with archer queen for free trophies and the loot bonus allowing me too raid straight away again without having to wait for troops and spells to cook. If I have any suspicion the TH maybe trapped I will simply hit next or if the loot is great I will drop 1 troop to trigger traps an teslas round the TH then proceed to attack from opposite side of base safe in knowledge that I no longer need to worry about traps or teslas.
Most of the TH snipers don't really get that high in trophies. Drop a tad
Man, some of you forumers are just unbelievable....this is a legitimate question.
The fact is that many people have just stopped sniping because of revenge and lightning DE zapping. I'm th9 and I will never, ever snipe a th10 because I just get revenged too often and there is no way a th9 base can stop a long cook time th10.
I use to give every farmer out there a free shield no matter how many resources they had. But not anymore. Too many douchebag th10s revenging and lightning zappers.
I'd be willing to bet that th sniping is going to keep decreasing. The only snipes you will see are the low level guys who are looking to get the achievement gems.
Pretty much, I always think twice before sniping a th9 or lower. If their heroes level are too high, i might get revenged with a kamikaze at my DE storage. Th8 and lower will most likely zap my DE.Quote:

Am I upset that TH snipers are disappearing? Not really I no longer need them my base is maxed with just walls left to do which means I can dump all my excess gold into walls every time I log off and never have more than a few thousand available. It also means I now come across all these lovely bases in crystal an master lges with storages full an TH outside walls just ready for me too raid!
As a mid-level TH8, I concur with this as well. If I have resources, and isolate my hall, I will get ravaged with only the cost of a few barbarians to secure the victory. If I protect it outside my walls, I actually end up with more snipe attempts from lower level players without the power to get a good foothold on the rest of my base. Then I can turn around and ravage their bases at my leisure should I need a few trophies or they have some loot for me. So I never isolate my hall anymore, for that reason.Quote:

Same thing is happening to me. I go offline for an hour without a Townhall snipe and then get revenged from someone in Champ(since I just dropped cups).
It's really annoying.
Strange, I am in crystal 2 and I get sniped within 30-40 minutes. Six snipes so far today. Lots of low level guys hitting me. I have not had a full on raid for 3 days. And that poor fool marched his whole army into my two lvl 3 inferno meat grinders, lol.Quote:

Hehe, ok I do admit I went and stomped some TH7 once, but that was only because he proceeded to raid one of my elixir stores.
