Will the devs ever stop money grubbing, and make gamer focused improvements?
This is in the idea thread, because it's a question about an idea. You guys think at any time, the devs will try to make the game more friendly towards us, the loyal faithful that spend money on this game? Like for instance, make training times for units even remotely reasonable? Lets admit it, 45 minutes for any troop is just disgusting. 8 minutes to make a wizard. Want a dragon? No problem, 30 minutes. Pekka, a cool 45 minutes. Seems to me that the game can be vastly more fun if they just decreased the amount of time to make some troops. If you ask me, the Barbarians, Archers, Goblins, Giants, Wall Breakers, Minions and Hogs are just fine. It's just everything after is like hitting a wall. Now, I've already spent $150 on this game, but I've never used GEMS to expedite troops. I just feel that the game can use a new time structure, and it could improve the amount of people playing it. Or make a "development lab" to level up to decrease training time. Or something to look forward too. This is the most fun to play Clan game, it's just the time to "play" is a bit ridiculous.
This doesn't count for upgrade times and such, just the troops. The spells are even kinda okay being 30 minutes as it's a attack bonus. So what you guys think, am I crazy?
How much is your time worth?
First- I absolutely agree that the wizard training time is insane.. 7 minutes? Are you kidding? Should take 2m40s (length of 4 archer training time).. Training time could seriously be reevaluated for some troops. 100% with you.
The reality is: time is money.. Especially for SuperCell. It costs 10 gems to boost a barracks for 2 hours.. Thats only $.05 an hour. As in- literally 5 cents..
So, for the cost of a vending machine soda- you can boost your production. If 5 cents per hour is a lot of money- you might want to reevaluate your priorities. And don't forget you get free gems from cleaning up your village.
My 5.. er.. 2 cents..
