Very inconsistent loot

Hey all

I've never really had any problems finding loot but that changed since about a month.
Since my last week at TH8 and my first weeks as TH9 I have found it really really difficult to find any loot at all and I can't understand why...

I have been barching for ages and that worked perfect for me. I usually boosted all 4 barracks and could easily make 1.5 to 2 mil an hour and 1 starring most bases during farming (I don't like only taking the mines and losing every battle and then climb up again by sniping bases)

But since over a month (pretty much around the time I decided to upgrade to TH9) I can hardly find any loot anymore. For your information: I was a completely maxxed TH8 when I decided to upgrade.

Now, I still use barch, with 4 boosted barracks but most of the time I barely make 0.5 to 1 mil an hour anymore. I have to next about 200 times till I get a juicy collector raid and most of the bases I get, offer me only 30 to 50k...

And sometimes I get 2 300K loot bases in 5 minutes and then for 2 hours nothing at all. It drives me crazy.

I have been in Crystal III and the different Gold leagues but loot just sucks for me. My clan mates mostly farm in the gold leagues too and loot is sweet for them. I do the same things but I don't get anything. This is really really frustrating for me and honestly, the game has just not been fun for me anymore the past couple of weeks..

Anyone with tips or advice? Would be greatly appreciated !

Can't really pinpoint the cause here. If you are at TH9 and around 2000 trophies, you should have good loots. It could be that you are raiding at a different time now. You can also try Crystal 2 and 1 but be sure to leave TH outside, there's some crazy good attacks starting around 2400.

It can be a roller coaster just strap in and enjoy the ride. There isn't a permanent sweet spot just have to chase it where it goes. If other clanmates are having good luck watch replays and study. May just be a troop combo or a tweak to your strategy is what it takes. I resisted for a while but watched loot increase dramatically including a little bit of others style.

It has been up and down for me as well. I'm not TH9 yet, but after this update there has been really nothing. I feel like people are dumping resource boosted gold into walls.

It's not really a matter of combo imo. My clanmates mostly use BAM or BARCH as well.
Problem is I don't find collector raids at all and only few storage raids (with very strong bases I would need a max army + spells to raid it, which I don't want to).

You can't be bothered to train an army?.. Well, poor you :)

Its been up and down for me also, but really everyday is like that. Ive found some good collector bases today though

Hahaha, it's time to learn how to raid storages and not just collectors ! I think you will have a hard time in CW if you don't even know how to raid to the core of a town properly. And I can't understand why people are so stuck to BARCH when you can train other farming armies which take maybe 7 more min but are way more efficient.

Loot is awful maybe because inactive players started logging in again due to Clan War hype.

I'd suggest 1650 range. I am there atm and farming nicely :P

though i will agree about you said about inconsistent loot.
