search for players and message others

Players come and go from clans and sometimes you meet people and actually become friends with them and then someone leaves the clan. I would like to be able to have the ability to search for players in the game to stay in contact with them. I know there are some people with the same names but if you look at their profile you will be able to tell who is the one you're looking for. Also, I think we should be able to directly message anyone we want. I'm not sure why this isn't an option yet.
