Excellent sharp eyes on the sword!
But I'm guessing it is just a Barb sword that is not flat faced but on 90 degree angle to flat with point of reference from above- so you are basically looking down at the sword on its thin sharpened sides instead of the flattened broad sides (just take the flat side image and rotate sword 90 degrees to achieve the look).
And the darkness color to the sword could just be from the animation graphics for the commercial and from it being tilted 90 degrees from typical reference (there are other swords that appear dark even when held in the hand of a barb in the commercial as if the sun is not hitting the sword from that angle). The commercials obviously include graphics not typical of game play (assuming Level 1 pianos don't get introduced).
Why would the sword be flying thru the air? Because a barb probably hit a mine tossing the sword into the air.
Just guessing as others are but sure looks like a Barb sword looking at it from the sharp side of the blade instead of the flat face side of blade.
Still a great bit of investigative work by Storm though if he found the detail and I could be wrong.

It's possible the sword is just from the barbarian pushing the piano. If you notice its right
next to him and he's not holding one. Looks like a barb sword from my POV.
