Many people on youtube have done tutorials on how to do all the levels... I would recommend searching that up :)
While you might be able to do it all the way to the end (not sure with lvl4 troops), I would suggest you wait until th9 / th10 to finish the last levels as this is when you will need the loot that is available from the single player missions.
(Well - this is what I did so of course I suggest this route! ;))
