Anyone know if there will be any stat records? Like wars won etc. Will it be visible to other clans clicking on a clan?
I'm kind of confused about the war base thing. It's not separate from your normal base is it? Because that means you can't farm during clan wars:(
During the first day of the war (the preparation day) you set up your real base as you want it for the war day. Then once the prep day is over your base design gets locked in for the war but you can then make changes to your normal base WITHOUT changing your base for the war. So you can go back to farming while your base stays strong for the war.
A couple questions regarding troops:
Q1: Does our war base count as a separate base, which would therefore have its own separate camps? Meaning, do we get to build an army for war at our war base while we build a raid army in our village?
This would be immensely helpful.
Q2: Do we take on the expenses of war? Meaning, do we need to pay for our war armies with our village's resources or will our war base have resources available?
I know this sounds absurd, but for some reason its in my head that war bases just have max loot and you dont lose the resources when attacked in a war, because they arent your villages resources. I know its not how it works though... I still think its a fair question though because while i know war bases dont just have max loot, they do have some sort of different structure for loot lost (and gained? Has anyone asked this?) so, for example, maybe if we only lose a fraction on war defense, maybe we only pay a fraction for war attacks...
I have a question. (I didn'tread all the other replys, so someone might have already raised this). It said the 30 strongest bases were chosen for defense. Will only the 30 strongest members be able to raid? Great Q & A btw.
How will this not change farming entirely? In order to win a war you need a pushing composition in order to get 50%+ on most bases which is not ideal for farming. Also, the point of clan wars is to get 1 star+ on your attacker and with farming you out your town hall outside. If you want to win a war, whats the purpose of putting your town hall outside and protecting your loot?
You will need a base that protects the town hall otherwise getting 2 stars would be pretty easy and would harm your chances of winning the war. Once the base is locked in to the war though you can change your normal base and throw town hall outside and the CW base remains the way it was. I think the best thing to do is build hybrid bases which are basically just trophy bases that you swap town hall in the middle for another building when you're farming. On my current base I throw the town hall out at night when I sleep and wake up to full collectors. Don't want endless attacks all night... These wars will more than likely occur back to back so unless you can be bothered redesigning all the time hybrid bases will be the way to go...
