I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed this, but it is ridiculous:
Hypothetically, assuming that the day of the hero update you had enough dark elixir to buy the barb king and had started each upgrade as soon as the previous upgrade ended without speeding anything up with gems, you would only have a level 18 barb king. Is it right to force in game purchases to be successful in the game? Post your thoughts
They should give everyone a lev 30 king and queen to put everyone on a level playing field...that will show those gemmers!
Did you also observe that there is no time limit within which you must max your heroes?
I know, crazy right? Imagine that, we actually DON'T have to max our heroes before the next update.
Force you to buy gems? Nobody is holding a gun to your head, are they?

the heroes require a builder to initially build and they require a builder to upgrade with an ever-increasing amount of time given to each level of upgrade. to give you a rough guide, the barb king takes 12hrs to upgrade to lvl 2, lvl 3 is a day... lvl 30 isQuote:

14 days 12 hours! the other thing to take into account is the dark elixir is extremely slow to accumulate, it's nothing like grabbing ordinary gold and elixir as it's only 5% of whatever they have per raid and it's a struggle to accumulate enough for an upgrade.
The only issue I have with this is the fact that it takes a builder to upgrade. It should be like upgrading a troop in the lab, no builder required.

i agree, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed. especially when the builder taps away at the heroes base upgrading it and there's no difference in appearance of a lvl1 to a lvl30 hero. you would think they would be upgradable like all other troops in the lab, but that's not the way they work for some reason...Quote:
