The way I understood it, you have the heroes in your war camp who never sleep and are always available to defend. If they are upgrading in your normal village, they are awake in your war base at the level they were at prior to the upgrade. However, you attack with the heroes (and spells, and troops, and clan castle) of your normal village so if your heroes (or spells, or troops, or CC) are not available for whatever reason in your normal village, then you cannot attack with them until they are. Your normal village is what you use to attack from and it behaves no differently than it does now. Your war base is effectively a "defense only" base. All defensive structures are "awake" even if they are being upgraded in your normal village and your CC troops in your war base are there for defense only and regenerate after each defense regardless if they have survived the attack or not.Quote:

Is there a date yet? Please can we have a date? I dont care if its a fake / made up date. The 11 year olds in my clan need relief. They are going to explode soon if they dont get a release date. DO THE RIGHT THING, EASE THEIR SUFFERING.

I don't think sc said it was coming out on a specific date. Not trying to be a downer because I'm sick of waiting too. But don't be too bummed if it doesn't happen tomorrow. April 9th is simply a forum rumor. But for the record I'm staying up till 5am my time tonight because the updates usually release around 4am my time ;) lol

The Clan Wars update needs to have:
a) save layout. Farming vs Trophy bases are too different. We must be able to save the designs.
b) specific chat feature for Clan Wars. The current chat system is not sufficient to coordinate and assign who will be attacking whom, etc. That's why organized clans are already going to 3rd party apps to chat and coordinate assignments.
These features must be implemented or else this Clan Wars thing is going to fail.
Clan wars is definitely fun... However, for some reason we are unable to scout the villages during battle or even watch the replays... Been kind of lagging... My guess is that SC did not properly anticipate the network traffic and activity... Hope they get this fixed up soon as it hurt pretty badly to try and attack an unknown village...
