So choosing to ride a shield for a few hours longer and participate in 2 battles cost you 2 mil per day:/? Do you happen to raid 1mil resources everytime or what?

No matter what you say, this is a chance to raid up to 2 million resources with only 2 battles, while not making you look like an antisocial person who cares about nothing but his own benefits.

yeah that is what i mean. and also, only when you win does it goes to the count of wins on your faction stats. it doesn't say much about losing

Why not? You won't know if you would win or not and it might be fun, right? :)

Riding a shield for a couple of hours cost gold plain and simple on average I can do between 1/1.3Mill non boosted per hour.

Now you mentioned 2 Million resources with only 2 Battles, this has not been confirmed or stated officially yet.

As I already said I have no issues with offering up whatever troops people want if they want to participate in clanwars but for me personally it's not worth the time or effort.

And No I'm not an antisocial person either normally always engaged with clan chat, just because I don't think it's worth the effort doesn't mean I'm antisocial :) Also of course everyone's number one priority is advancing his / her base or pushing trophies.
When I need to push trophies, I push hard, I don't have a issue pushing up to master which offers other benefits such as more DE + loot bonus and trophies & Gems!

Clanwars offers what exactly?? A Tiny bit of loot that's it.... Nothing else thus add some Gems into it and more will participate and get involved with it and work harder on it and plan better Strategies and so forth.

A way for Clans to actually Clash finally.
Something to break the monotony of endless farming.
Something for your clan to do together

Alright perhaps I was wrong by saying you are an antisocial person, and I understand your point.
As SC said, you don't have to participate if you don't want to.
But from my POV, i think you should really spend time having fun with your clans by directly joining their activity, not just cheering in the background. Join the fray, care less about the resources and just have fun. It's just like donation. Even if my army will be done in 15 seconds and someone requests, I'd still stop my training, and donate to that person. It's more about giving than receiving.
But hey, just my opinion.

Btw, check out one of Godson video, he said you can win up to 1 million each resources if your clan wins, even if you lose you still have a bit resources (don't know how much). And that resources will be deliver to every one (not divided), so yeah, participate in 2 battles and you have a chance of winnin 2 millions.

Ever since I know I cannot loose any loot in a clanwar, I am reliefed and I will participate.
I Don't really care about it, but some people in my clan are looking forward to it and I won't spoil the fun they expect to have from clanwars.

So after reading the FAQ about clan wars, I am concerned about one thing. I spend my own elixir to make troops/spells for battle. Let's say I make 10 level 4 dragons... total cost 420,000. If I attack twice with that army composition I will be out 840,000 elixir not counting spells. Only way I may possibly break even on elixir used is to win the war. Correct? Now I know we don't know what the winning are going to be, but that seems a pretty steep price to pay to possibly win a CW. Anyone else think so?

Well....just don't use so expensive army ;-)

anyway, for many higher level players I don't think elixir is an issue. I like the idea base on what I read but of course will have to see when we actually have clan wars how it works in practice.

Ah sure, I will wait and see when the official info comes out and then decide haven't decided anything yet just airing my personal views on it.


Who knows what will be changed in the next week or two and perhaps Supercell might look into other rewards for people who take part in it by means of a gem bonus for doing it say ten times, twenty times same as you hit 1250 you get some gems, 2000 you get some gems, 2600 you get some gems and 3200.
