Much like the goblin campaign, clan wars is optional. Participate if you want, abstain if you don't like it, just stop complaining about optional content. From Chief Pat's vid... he said the the CW is based off the strength of the village. If my Leader declares war, he is a maxxed TH10. We have people in our clan that are nowhere near being that high. So if it determines which clan we are matched up with based off of the leader... there can be a lot of disparity going against a clan full of maxxed TH10 when your clan doesnt have anywhere that. Maybe you need to have a co-leader that is a lower level and have him declare war for the opposite affect?

It's not just the leader, its all of the members

It sounds like the matchmaking is based around the whole clan not just the leaders base. You should be fine.

The formula accounts for all clan member bases so you do not have to go up against maxed town hall 10's

Ok then I think that makes a little more sense. We just have a wide range of players from 1-30 lets say. A lot of the 20-30 players are bronze and silver players. There is no way they would be able to come close to taking down a TH9 or 10 when their TH is 7. Hopefully the mix would be fair in that regards or the lower level guys in high levels clans will stand no chance.
