Why the huge increase in Gem prices?

Seems like the Nike shoes... Sold for 150$ but the material and worker pay costs up to half a dollar... Real Stats used here.
They make poor Chinese and Indian work for low wages to make a great profit. Seems like Apple's going in the dump too.

I am not a player that cares about gems...its not the way I play...So, i had not noticed the increase. But perhaps the cost of boosting items and buying upgrades willl decrease...ie one gem still gets you what one gem previously got you...Or put another way, 2,500 gems gets you more than it used to, so they charge more for the package??

I dont know, but it might be the case. Like I say, I dont really track gem prices at all. All my gems are saved for the goblin prince! 2,500 gems worth of green, slippery, thieving hero! lovely

You spoke too soon bud. 2500 gems went from R160 to R220, thats a 37% increase.

No wonder there's a one gem boost.

They're turning kids into slaves, just to make cheaper sneakers, but what's the real cost cos the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper.... why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got them made by little slave kids? what are your overheads?
