I have 2 questions:

Q1:
Do you know that no April Fool victim feels happy after a prank? They might laugh it off at first but it always leaves an annoying after taste.

Q2:
What's the name of SC's Public Relations officer who decided that pranking your fans and customers during a sensitive period like this is a good idea?

Agreed. One post about clan wars in announements/facebook was fine. However, continually trolling your clients via threads like this, SuperCell employees posting in other similar threads and getting youtube channels to troll further with videos was completely without class.

I expected better from a client facing group within SuperCell.

I'm a shameless SC fanboy, and even i am quite disappointed at how unprofessionally they have gone about this.

They have certainly stirred up a whole bunch of interest in this update, thus proving their claim this will be the biggest update in COC history. I don't think Supercell is going to disappoint this time, just be patient.

I thought Pat's video was genius, not sure why so many people got so upset over that. It was obviously a fake with the Valkyrie destroying over half the base by dying. I personally thought that everyone who got so upset over the video was more funny than anything else Supercell has done so far, the amount of rage that caused was hysterical:D However, I wouldn't mind to see all this clown stuff stopped, as funny as some of the comments about clown wars have been :p Can't wait to see what comes out tomorrow!

glad to see so many fellow sc supporters, like myself, sharing the same tired feeling of theirefforts to troll/joke/build anticipation whatever their goal is. i was hoping that something this big needed no gimmicks or jokes to heighten anticipation, but for a week now we have been given little snippets of 4 popular youtubers going to helsinki, encouraging us to subscribe to them for the latest news. well so far i have simon asking me if he should wear glasses, pat doing this "joke" video, i must have missed godsons, but i think i saw some screen shots of a new cc? so maybe we got something out of his, and apparemtly daddys is tomorrow. and dont give me the sense of humor stuff, tired old jokes such as "soon" and building anticipation of an update, which often leads to let down, arent funny to some, that does not mean they dont have a sense of humor, just that they have heard this joke before. here are a few oldies but goodies

momma tomato, papa tomota and baby tomato were walking, baby tomato started to fall behind, papa tomota went back and said 👏 ketchup

no, mods and sc staff are sometimes very different entities. often the mods that are most active with the cleaning and maintaining of our forums, do not work for sc, and do it voluntarily

The whole golem-day thing is funny. It sounds like something out of a book I read, The Mysterious Benidict Society, by Trenton Lee Stewert. You can stay up as late as you want, but lights out at 9:00. You can do whatever you want, but follow strictly by the rules.:o
