TH 9 Barch to Champ League

Hey everyone:) Just wanted to share my TH9 journey to Champ League. It started for me by learning high lvl game play in Forum Elite II, and ended shortly after the EPIC Sky9 event. I reached 3,213 🏆 using 100% barch. I love the army as you can battle quickly, and affordably. The result was that I was able to push while making awesome resources. I highly recommend this army as one to learn at any TH level.

I am am not making a "How to Guide" as it has been done many times. I personally learned a lot from HOWIE's forum post on the matter and want to thank him for sharing! Also want to thank everyone from Forum Elite & Sky9👊👊 Most of all want to thank my Bros @ TOPSHELF.

Big congrats! Just a few questions i hope you won't mind,

how were barracks stacked?
cc was 5 wiz 10 arch?
2/4 lightning for 1-2 mortars depending on how they are placed?
ever use one for cc or just sorta leave it alone?

Thanks all, it helped being with such great clashers! Good point, to answer i stacked like this:

86 barb
136 arch
4 lights
Wiz, arch, witch, minion in cc

Always take out heros first, zap mortars that are in danger range, and spawn troops to where you trigger the cc last. Many times i could win without using all spells. I ALWAYS DEPLOYED HEROS AND CC TROOPS

Maybe a big difference in my barching was that i didn't wait and use heros , cc as cleanup.... instead I spawned them on 3 different sides of the base during the main deployment.

Interesting thanks, and i just remember jeff from Quatum Web would not kill the bk just the queen cause the king was to slow

What do you advise I should use to pass crystal 3 with Barch? This is what I have:

both the barbs and archers are lvl 5 (wizards too, I noticed). I have lvl 4 spell factory w/ level 3 lightnings. 200 army space.

Wow, first off, congratulations on reaching Champion, Fog! I just saw this thread so I'm sorry I'm so late!

Koof is actually a TH9 now, but still has TH8 troops. It's true it's very hard to barch with level 5 troops to Masters because the troops simply aren't strong enough; you could find an exposed town hall more frequently than a barchable townhall 10 with level 5 troops. I recommend getting level 6 troops and bigger army camps before trying to Barch to Masters. Good luck when your ready!

My only question-and I'm not knocking this by any means, great accomplishment-how is that a "quick" attack style when you have to use 4 lightning spells? Thats 2 hours, or 30 mins boosted.

Barch trains quickly and making 4 Lightning spells is faster than 4 Rage spells right? He also doesn't have to use all of his spells in a raid:rolleyes:

def boosted spell fac, and was lucky to not use all 4 all the time. Also boosted hero recovery, so in the end troops, heros, spells were ready in about 40-45 mins. Good point.

Edit: Sometimes you don't use all hero health and all spells....so in that case can attack even faster.

It's indeed the quickest, the only close ones are balloonion (30-40 mins training time) and hogs (always more than 30 mins), however, those two has a chance of yielding more than 1*, it all depends on your purpose.

I am going to try to Barch to champions myself as well, are 4 lightning spells necessary for a raid? And can you post a few barchable bases as examples?
