(TH8) I farm between 1000 - 1300 and was wondering what size group I should use? What defenses should I take out first before releasing them. What other info do I need to get the most out of them?

Take out air D so you can drop a few (like 3) healers. Drop heal spells at wizard towers BEFORE the hogs get their. Ideally, you can take out the first air D amd wizard tower right off the bat while under 1 heal spell, then drop the healers.
If you just got them, that means they are level 1.
I would upgrade them to level 3 at least before using them. They get really good at level 4.
If ur using hogs u should have the queen and some wiz
Check for CC
Avoid bases with disco infernos
Keep 2 healing 1 rage
ALso avoid anti_hog bases
Execution:
Release the hogs
Drop spells when needed
Put in the wiz and king after 40 sec
