Hi Snarg,
New to the forum and the intricacy of different kinds of farming. Can anyone explain to me what this means? I'm a little fuzzy on the details. You stay under 200 trophies and hit the little guys? To nickle and dime your way up?

it does two things really
1: you get a lot of loot, sort of hitting on the little guys but there are some big guys with a lot of loot to get too
2: Being attacked by all these little guys mean you wont get all the loot your saving up for that one building or those wall upgrades stolen by the guys that are pushing, or farming at a higher trophy level :)
Welcome to the forum :)
Yes Ive always advised this as well. Even if it means leaving money on the table there will usually be a next time. It is fun raiding someone three times in a few minutes for 60k each haha. People need to remember if everyone starts sheilding people there will be no loot.
Also sub 200 farming is only fun for awhile than its a real drag. But if you got the hours to spend its great. I can almost keep up with BAM up here in gold and crystal but it is nice to not have to stay on all day up here like I do down there so thats a plus.
Also sub 200 DE farming is brutal IMO as there's way too much lightening raids.
I found the opposite end of the spectrum beteer, from 0-50 trophies. Lots of bases between 40k-80k of gold that you could take with a 6 archers+6 gobs; as soon as you grab the loot, your trrops are already replenished and your ready to go again. Often right back to the same base, as long as you hit the End Battle button before you get to 40%.
And I thought I had OCD :)
Stu, thanks for the input. I have been as low as 20 before :)
As I take the elevator ride down to sub-200, I try to spend some time between 350 and 200 to try and pick up those bases with full storages that have been kicked out of the sub-200 range by other players. Try it sometime, but I would not advise spending a whole lot of time on it. Good for a couple raids at least.
Kitty, the idea is as many raids as fast as possible while spending as few troops as you can. I do keep some giants and wallbreakers with me in case I stumble upon a poorly designed base with full storages.
If you stumble across a TH7/8/9/10 (yes, there are TH 10's down there), do the ♥♥♥♥ move on them: drop one cheap troop and then surrender. They will pick up a ton of cups and be booted out of the sub-200 range.
Arom, if you have the time to burn it's a great way to bing in the gold. I'm mostly using it to farm for walls. I have been harvesting the heck out of my obstacle patch so now that I have a few gems to spare it makes it even better when you can boost your barracks.
I have to admit i haven't been below 100, i might try it one day soon :)
hahaha have you been to 0?
