Free one village for wall

I just played this game from Sep 2013 and finished lvl 10 walls last week.
1. My purpose: max everything by farming resources.
2. Budget: - Buy 3 extra villagers
- Gem on TH, Queen, Troop upgrade, barracks
==> It takes me around 1.000$ :D
3. How to farm:
- Joint one clan to get high level dnt troop at beginning
- Use 4 villagers for upgrade defenses, 1 for walls
- Upgrade TH after finish walls
- Trophy ranges: TH9: 1300, TH 10: 1600
- Troop: 14-18 giants, 2 healers, 11 wallbreakers, 50 archers, 30 bars, 20 gobs. We can attack other village or collectors with this troop.

4. Mistakes
- Upgrade to TH 10 when only finish 150 lvl 10 walls. I can farm 15 mio/day at TH9 but only 8-10/day for TH10
- Gem on Queen. I think no need to gem on Q and K at TH9
- Dont focus on DE farm at beginning.
- Play 8 hours/day (not full time) and my wife want SC close this game.

5. Advantage of my strategy:
- Almost no attacks because nothing left when I offline
- Balance time to upgrade Q, defenses and wall. Every defenses will be finished when I finish lvl 11 wall.

6. Current statistic:
- All lvl 10 walls
- GG: 1.9 bil
- HH: 5 mio
- Q: 38 and 40 this week

would this strategy only work if you are able to farm over 10 mil a day? what do u do if two builders are about to be free and you need to upgrade for example 2 infernos to lv 3? or lv 12 archer towers? awesome job tho!

I farmed 10mil/day easily with trophy range 1500-1650.
We can manage each builder easily, save gold for them to upgrade continuously.

Awesome, thats definately some dedication right there :)

But i have to ask, how can you farm at 1,600? I'm a TH9 and i cant find anything there, just 30-100k bases.

Not sure what trophy range you are at now, but I liked 1450 for farming at th9, give it a go if you haven't already!

yeah I started 4 months back and just finished 100 million and I'm pretty average. If it was September 2012, it would be make more sense.

Congrats, that must have been so much dedication you've put into the game - which I had so many hours a day to play :(

If he started September 2013, thats around 200 days. That means averaging about 9.5 million gold every day since day one of playing the game. Granted that is possible considering he probably wasn't averaging much per day at a lower town hall, but claims to average 10-15 million a day now. Very possible, but also very difficult and extremely time consuming. Good stuff none the less.

100% Possible. He stated he boosted barracks throughout, and gemmed labs. He can easily get through the early stages of the game as long as the lab UGs are gemmed. He's doing 10-15million a day now, which is probably low to him - and this is because he is TH10. At TH 8 or 9 the same effort spent and with boosted barracks could rack him 25mil a day, easily.
I've done both legos and lavas in 4months(1bil+ defences)(120 days) only boosting very sparingly and during 1-gem boosts. I consider myself a semi-hardcore player, but I have a job, a girlfriend, and also studying.

I don't see why 2billion in 200 days is impossible, especially when you can easily rack in 25-30million a day as long as you have time, with boosted barracks at TH 7~9.
TH10, of course, takes a huge hit in loot (Almost halved of TH9).

If 25-30 mil a day is easy according to you, what do you consider 'hard' to rack in one day? 50 million or so?

I've peaked 43m a day farming at TH9 with boosted.

My definition of 'hard' is the ability to farm, not considering loot luck & time spent. What I meant by 'especially when you can easily rack in 25-30million a day as long as you have time, with boosted barracks at TH 7~9. ' is that ANY average Joe 'As long as you have the time, and with boosted barracks at TH7~9' CAN rack up 25-30million a day with simple barch. Now I DID mention as long as you have the TIME and GEMS to boost.

If you're telling me that you have the same amount of time playing with boosted barracks, it is difficult to rack 25million in a day, then you're probably doing something wrong. I did mention loot to be very inconsistent these days, so yes some days 25million may seem a long stretch.

I am at TH10 now, Loot can get so dry that I would not be able to break even with search costs at some hours, but I am still pulling in 9-12million a day (I have a job, a girlfriend and I am studying). I also boost very sparingly. LathamStyle from Testudo can rack in over 10mil a day at TH10 WITHOUT boosts(he has stopped farming walls though, since he is done with lavas). And if you've actually been to TH10, net loot per hour is almost halved of what TH9's are getting.

I farmed 1600-1800 for TH10, skip almost TH10 with infernos
