TH9 vs. TH10

I'm maxed on all defense and over half my walls are L9. That is more than enough for me and after our clans push this week I am scraping together the 4 million and moving up to TH10. I could care less that my heroes are still so low as all but my golem is maxed out and I'm not in any rush to get my minions to L6 so all my de can go to my heroes for a looong time.

Have to agree with other poster. You are not a great liar and stats show it. Also, if you are using hog armies non-stop that adds another kink into your twisted web considering how much 20-30 hogs are costing you each round. I could care less that people gem, I thank them every day. But lying to make yourself out to be a super-clasher is just sad and you have a habit of it.

Good luck at TH10 though, should be fun!

I don't use Hogs non-stop. I'm not trying to be a super-clasher. I know that I'm not the best or anywhere near and I don't care. It is a game and I'm having fun playing it so why do you care how I do it? Thanks for the luck and good luck to you when you reach TH10 as well:cool:

I'm too a TH9er. The feeling of being so close to them discos is a curse. I wouldn't say max everything out. What is say is: get your walls, at least around 150/250 to level 9. Get your heroes to a decent level such as 15-20. With hero abilities level 15 is actually pretty nice and way better than 10/11.

Wouldn't get ♥♥♥♥ about it and do lvl 10 walls or lvl 30 heroes. That's just making the game boring for me. Lvl 9s are bad as they are let alone 10s.

Having lvl 9 walls makes th8/9ers run away. Except if they use loonions/hogs. Still - trust me it makes a huge difference scaring people (just like lvl 3 xbows scare the f of almost everyone lol).

Do whatever you think that makes the game more enjoyable to you. But I gotta say... I always talk trash about those TH10s with lvl 3 IT and lvl 6/7 walls!! 😂🙊

Do what you want. Probably best to do some walls and see how how burnt out you get. Feedback from current town hall 10's will be a lot more useful than us th9's on this topic though. Set yourself a target and see how it goes - seems to work for me!! Good luck

Yea I was kinda hoping some TH10s would give me their opinions because I already have a TH9 opinion....myself. I'm already burnt out from Level 8 Walls. Those are the most boring things on the planet and I can't imagine Level 9+:eek:. Thanks for the luck and I'll try setting the goals. What really got me thinking was the thread by Goodguy a.k.a BuckyLastard about how easy TH10 farming is in Master III with Balloonions. I've been doing it at TH9 with moderate success but when he said that the Infernoes scare off attackers like crazy I really started thinking about the upgrade:o I've already started the upgrade. No going back now:cool:

I was in exact same position, maxed th9 defence and did the skulls and heroes both to lvl 15.
I decided to go to th10, and Im loving it. I use Hogs on lazy farm around 3million a day and ive progressed well with only 1 lvl3 IT and then the AD and AT left...and then i guess I will do lvl 9 walls

I dont think it makes such a difference really. being th10 you say goodbye to raiding th8s but theres still good 250k plus raids easily enough to find, plus after having that elixer wasted for ages as you maxed th9, you will enjoy an outlet for that for while! anyway my 2 cents

I had assumed that you started playing post android release in October.

I got that stuck in my head, and in light of your other exaggerations I was hasty in coming to a judgment.

Your base must have been very close to what it is now since you've farmed 69000000 since coming back and well over half of that went into the new levels of Mortars and Wiz Towers.

In July 2013, farmed TH9 bases with skull walls and maxed turrets were exceedingly rare. You must have been playing a LONG time prior to that to grind it out.

So there's still a lot that doesn't make sense to me regarding your HH and your hero/troop levels (I had overlooked your drills, but they only make up so much and I have to assume you lost some DE on defense from time to time, if only to zappers :) and we know you've been balloonioning for awhile). But there's no question that my initial assumption was way off. Regardless of whether you've gemmed some resources it's not to the extent I thought.

I'm going to continue to view your posts regarding farming with a HUGE grain of salt, (as is my prerogative) but somewhat less so than when I thought you'd only been playing since October.

Well yea lazy farming is the chit buuut: you have to be way above average with loonions. If that's even what you'll be using.

I recently went to masters again, was hoping that because of the fact that I don't have gold EVER (fu walls) I wouldn't be raided as much as the first time I got to masters. It sucks to farm gold up there. Really. First off: 95% of the bases you find are TH10s with decent setups. Whatever, they have ITs protecting storages and I'm not using loonions to get 150k gold by hitting two storages only.

You get a lot (and I mean a loooooot of DE). Bonus + everyone having at least 1.5k available etc blablabla. Truth be told, with the same effort I get 8 mil a day at 1500-1900 whereas I get 2/3 mil tops "farming" at 2400+. Maybe I just suck. Who knows. 660k GG may not mean a thing after all! Kudos to you if you can make L9 walls up there! I stayed for a week and quit. Too bad for gold. Srs.
