Is that normal?

Hi dear CoC-Friends,

just a brief question that I was asking myself recently.

It is nearly impossible for me to get more than 2 Million, either Gold or Elixier. I cant quite get it how some people stay around couple of Million without getting raided for a huge amount.

Maybe I have a premature base but usually the case is that I get raided within 5 Minutes I log off from CoC and then get raided 1 or at least 2 times because sometimes the first attack doesnt trigger my shield.
But in total I always loose around 200-300k Gold/Elixier.

And thats the purpose of this inquiry... its sometimes bloody annoying :/

For example I'm saving for some upgrade that costs around 3 Million but as soon as I log off after a good attack I get raided and therefore I hardly cant save more than 2 Million ...

Is this normal?

I am lvl 83, and Im used to stick around 1400-1700 Trophys. I'll attach a picture of my base

There are a few things you can do.

1) Put your TH outside
2) Raid in sessions
3) If you don't like 2, make big armies and only raid bases with large loot.

Edit: just saw ur base. Putting the TH outside while heavily guarding it with defenses kinda defeats its purpose to get a cheap shield don't u think?

It is normal for people to raid you and try and take your resources. The trick is to stay online for a while and get all the resources needed before logging off. That way your resources become empty and your upgrade has started:cool:

Without seeing base or anything I suggest leaving your Town Hall exposed outside of your walls and away from defense. 99.9% of time someone will come kill it giving you a shield. However if base too weak with all that loot may not help.

Edit: Saw base. move TH away from the wiz tower and mortar. Just put it in upper corner and folks will snipe it.

I would say that having your TH outside just to invite TH snipers would help let you get a shield with a chance to que minimal loss in resources.

Ur level doesn't say much, your TH is far more important.

The other key is to upgrade your lower cost defenses and walls. That way your base builds up to the point where you can protect your gold better when saving up for bigger items. Since we don't know your base we can't know if that would help, but if you have defenses you can upgrade for less then 2 million then start there.

Your base should make it so you can lose more than 100k without getting a shield.

This means:
1) your TH should be outside
2) your storages should be close to the center of your base. Protected my the mortars and wiz towers.
3) stick to 1500 range for your level (I suspect TH8)

With max mines/collectors you make 400k each day. So you can lose 100% (16 hours shield) and still be in the positive ressource wise.

My mini was losing gold each day when I wasn't using it because I didn't have maxed mines/collectors. Now that they are maxed, I make ressources even if I get attacked 2 times a day.

If your town hall is already outside, then just let it go and put it FAR FAR AWAY from any defenses, surround it with decorations to show it's not trapped.
