Is it best to put 10 dragons right on top of each other or spread them out when attacking a village? I am trying to figure out the best grouping for a dragon group attack. For example, when is the best amount to cluster in a group to basically 1 or 2 shot attack your way through a village?? 2 groups of 3?? 2 groups of 4?? Any suggestions or discussion would be helpful. Thanks
i just attempted a dragon/wizard combination myself, i won't be doing that again. each time i've tried a pekka/dragon based army i have failed quite badly.
that being said you should watch the few videos of the top players attacking with dragons, they seem to spread them out to some degree but not completely. it is important to have lightning for air defenses and CC troops as they can do a number on dragons.
lastly, what trophy range are you at? it will have a huge impact on your strategy.
Can i confirm something here? Is air defense splash damage? I heard somewhere that the damage is splash.
Only the red air bombs (what's it called?) have splash nothing else (air related) doesQuote:

In addion to the red balloons you mentioned, Wizard towers attack and land and air and do splash damage to both. Also wizards themselves do splash damage. However, most people tend to favor using archers in their CC over wizards so this shouldn't effect you too much.Quote:

You are right wizards don't do splash damage, I just checked on their information tab. I always thought they did for some reason, maybe because of their attack graphic. Sadly, I've never even made one, as they are expensive and take 10 mins to build.

Picking the correct air defense to take out is important. At your level, it might not matter as much. GL, watching dragons level bases is fun.
