I would consider my layout to be farming, My resources are well protected and my th is fairly exposed. I still have it in range of 2 cannons and a mortar to deter any more attacking if someone goes for my th and it is inside 1 layer of walls with funneling on either side of it.
EDIT: When get home i will upload of picture of my layout to see what you guys think.
