Just a few things:

- I'm not very good with traps, so I just kind of put them there. Obviously, if there is funneling, these would be taken out and used in the funneling process.
- I'm not good with funneling (at least what to use as bait, cannons perhaps?), so we can continue from there if anybody thinks my base is a good starting point for the base
- It's pratically impossible to protect your storages without sacrificing a lot of defense. So I kind of put it in the last layer.

I don't usually make bases, but ehh, gave it a shot? Points for trying?

(pretty hard to make a good TH 7 base that nobody knows).

no man..forget it..u won't reach. even crystal by defense.. I am th7 myself..it's only hard work..I went to crystal 2 by sniping at th6..

What I'm working on is close to your ask. My goal isn't to hit crystal though. I'm taking my time farming to max out each level before progressing. I can tuck away the TH if need be in the first layer, but find I can easily make up the small trophy loss from a TH snipe so never do.

I actually (while doing something boring) came up with an amazing idea for a base. I'm pretty sure I can do with low wall count, but it will be all trap using funneling and other things, completely tricking higher levels into believing it is easy.

Also, said I didn't try to do traps :P

u can easily get to crystal with a crappy base or to master if u do lots of raid.

Well I am not sure what you mean by TH 7 getting to Masters on defense but I pretty much guarantee you some offense got (all of) them there.

I am presently a TH 7 in Crystal 1 farming/pushing and have not left Crystal since TH 5 (got to Masters as TH 6 for gems).

My base is a Junliang Pokeball slight hybrid (farming with TH and dark elix storage outside hoping for one star) and like others have said, good luck getting defensive wins in Crystal let alone Masters. You might get the odd oops attack but if someone is TH 7 coming down from Masters they did not get to Masters solely on defense with that base design regardless of where they put the TH.

I've been here in Crystal 1-2 for two weeks now as Th 7 and weeks longer going back to TH 5. It is all about offense and reducing defense hits to less than 3 stars while minimizing the 3 star crushing 50+ revenge attacks.

That said, I do like the idea of bettering a base for lower townhall levels to push! It makes it more exciting to be able to farm and push simultaneously at lower TH levels. The base in the pic in Masters is decent but certainly not a design to win defensive victories against all out attacks from TH 9 and 10 opponents in upper Crystal/lower Masters.

The base design in the pic with the mostly maxed Th 7 in Masters is not a whole lot different than the Pokeball, both have a somewhat circular layout and both look like solid bases for their TH level.
