Wow, so many of you just don't get my point. I know I'm in a farming range. That's because I'm farming. I just wanted to see what would happen if I threw my th inside. And the frequency of attacks on me was crazy. I won 6 defenses on a row and what did I get? Nothing. While an inactive player never gets attacked. Its a brutal flaw in the game.
But f course half of you can't read and start to go off on the effectiveness of my base.
One of you even said I was gloating. Maybe you should read where I said I didn't even design this myself. So why the hell would I gloat about a base I didn't even design.
This base protects resources better than any other I have tried, and I've tried about 20 different variations. And it has been to masters and won defenses up there. Of course it doesn't win every one but no th9 design can.

And SuperCell could have fixed this ages ago when Leagues come in. Yet in their infinite wisdom payouts were only awarded for offensive wins; not defensive wins.
Giving defensive wins will encourage more of us farmers to try defend properly, rather then hiding our loot for 12 hr blocks by exposed halls; and stay online continuously for 6 hours much less.
Well i don't understand why you assume a base doesn't get raided because it is inactive. Like you said you are in a farming range, and you also happen to have some scrumptious looking loot there.. It may look easy to snag, possibly good reason to attack. Im sure if you had no resources to offer, you wouldn't be raided nearly as often..
I would agree with you. Being chain raided is terrible. At least now you know what it is like for all those guys who do not know that you should leave your th exposed.
Actually, part of the problem IS the cup range you are at. Full of th10 farmers that don't care about cups, only loot. So you are less likely to get a shield. If the league bonus was more worthwhile at that level people would actually try to win the attack.
the answer is not more inactives, but bigger league bonus and defensive win league bonus!
I hear that you feel you're being picked on for being an active player, but seriously what did you think would happen.You teased a bunch of lower level players with big time loot and they couldn't take down enough to give you a shield. And your in a trophy range where there is a lot of activity.
if all we saw when playing was inactive bases, it would get boring in a hurry. There would be no point in upgrading anything if we never got attacked. The game dynamics are what they are to ensure healthy development. We loot to upgrade to protect our loot or to get better at stealing loot. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
we never do see the stats on how many times someone has nexted past our own base. Who's to say someone isn't landing on our base every 2 minutes but are passed up for various reasons...... No loot, too hard to take, etc, etc

I think my base is great at 1600... Level 50's pour all level 4 troops and get 10%...
At masters I'm only winning one out of three defences and losing a lot of loot. It happens. That's the game of pushing.
But OP, I would address this thread at the real problem, no reward for trophies, rather than making it a complaint thread.
I think your overall base design, and your total amount of loot that can be stolen are the main targets for people looking to raid someone
