The Hardest thing to accept about the trophy game for a hardcore farmer

It's all offence now, Bill. Kind of has been since the game was launched but it's worse now than previous updates for sure. Even if your base holds off for 30% damage, the heroes clean up the other 20%. I can't see how they can balance it either. It's not that defence isn't strong it's just you get guys hitting you with lvl 40 heroes, freeze spells mixed with rage spells means your heaviest defence items sit frozen while the heroes go around smashing everything. You have to stay online for hours with boosted spells and heroes to progress at high cups. I hit 3400 in this last push we are on and i've had multiple base designs and only had one defence win while in Champion league. You just pray when you get kicked off that one of the big guys finds you so it's under 10 cups lost. Instead of hitting Next over and over for farming i'm hitting Next over and over trying to find a base that isn't worth 3 cups with -35 loss where I am otherwise if I just take 1-2 cup matches I will more than likely lose more than I won over multiple battles in one def loss. It's even worse higher up. Guys in ITD above 3800 are posting replays with "3hrs clouding", "2 hrs clouding"... They spend 3hrs looking for a base up there. Then they get kicked off and lose -34. Top guys have shielded up waiting for the comp to end. They're over it. Good luck to players that live at high cup levels, it's a broken mess...

They want you to go to Th10 where things are cool, but are too expensive and painful to grind out through farming.

i can't wait for the videos to be posted of a maxed base with max heros n max wiz in cc( base not dead) 2 starred with Barc...TH was in the core protected...They did have 3700+ cups...also, the 3 star was for 42 cups and wasnt a dead base or revenge....Thank you for your loot n cups😈👊™ Tier 1....

By TH10 your purchase history will most definitely predict if you are going to use gems or not. Also, it is more about the game's evolution than sc's control of it, that what the game is. SC steering the game towards the money instead of trying to find it a meaning proves the point. I echo the talk why do people do what they do in clash.

On champs gameplay, it just shows how amateurish touch there has been to balancing if you compare clash to other titles. It makes one wonder..

The ~only solution is to go for equal chances offense vs. defense by nerfing the heroes, having skill matter more, and perhaps changing win conditions.

Really, it is posts like these that makes me feel terrible about my raiding skills.

I never had heroes save my hiney in a raid before. I know for sure my 15/17 heroes can get me from 40% to 50% if there are more than 7 buildings outside, but that's mathematical.

Anything less than 40% before i deploy heroes would be a hail mary, and chances of success is a staggering 1/10 raids for me.

If Bcuzz is Mr. 2 Star, i'm Mr 49%.

Finally got to reading this, and I feel the pain.

We have invested a year of time into our bases, to not want to defend properly while farming - or have to accept 1 or 2 star losses on defence in high leagues.

Why is something we invest so heavily in so depressing?

But on the otherside of the coin, if defense was OP players would just copy the strong bases and no-one would ever win - which would be even more frustrating.

I believe SuperCell can fix the farming side of defense more easily [drop trap re-arm costs, league bonus for winning defense], but the trophy side of defense is harder.

Its not that i mind losing if i feel there is a skill involved, for example the players that lure out the Heros and CC before launching an attack. But when they blindly just launch in knowing it is all gonna work out in the end it really does **** me off.

I cant / wont spend 6hrs online to try and squeak out some tiny progress, waiting 3 hrs for hero regen so they are available for defence just to add that little bit of distraction.
