What is unfair about it? People with no jobs or jobs that allow you to carry your phone can play 8 hours more each day. Is that an unfair advantage over those that can't?

I like how non gemmers complain about gemmers and gemmers complain how much gems cost.
I hate starcraft because it's so frigging unfair! Only kids and bums win because they can spend 24/7 playing it and getting so good at it! The developers should make it so that the servers are up during non-working hours, and everyone should be limited to 3 hours of gametime a day, to make it a level playing field!
BTW that's a joke.... people are just jealous...it's human nature.... I bet some of the gemmers wish they had the time to play 24/7 on COC and not have to work...The game is fair as it is because you can choose to gem a lot, or play a lot, and someone who does both gets to the top of the leaderboards. Someone who gems a lot but doesn't have the time to play wont get to the top 200...likewise if you play a lot but don't gem you wont get there either.
Well said, COC is fair in a sense, but not in the traditional sense lol
And COC's leaderboard doesn't mean "skill + dedication" like normal MMORPGs which do not allow in-game-purchases
Rather, it more means like "real life money + dedication + skills". So good luck to the poor kids who have a lot of dedications and skills, they won't have a chance at the leaderboard in COC, which in my opinion is unfair.
Don't get me wrong, I am old and make six figures, but I think poor kids should have a shot at this.
Yeah..and my heart bleeds for that fat obese accountant..gemming his ♥♥♥ off but only having an hour (max) to play a day, sometimes none cos he's always having to finish his work to get his six figure salary. He's never going to get shot at the leaderboard, poor sod. Life is so unfair!!
If you don't want to farm hence you don't want to collect resources, and you don't want to pay.. how else are you wanting to get the resources needed for an update? I understand it would be great to have everything maxed out but firstly you need dedication and patience.
Well most MMORPGs are about dedication and skills combined, so if he doesn't have the time to dedicate to the game, then I don't think he deserves a shot at the leaderboard of most MMORPGs. But it is okay for COC, because COC is about real life money , dedication, and skills combined.
I like this game but I too find it ridiculous I am forced to spend money to be a top player. Sure when I played WoW I sucked at pvp and couldn't even get close to placing top in my server in arena, at least I felt like it was achievable. I just don't have the money to be a top player in CoC! As much as I love the game the feeling I get knowing I'll never be one of the best players because I'm forced to pay money makes it much harder for me to like it. Luckily I've only been playing for a few months so I haven't spent a year hoping for a hopeless goal.
This game is cheaper than some other games up I played. But I don't spend too much here...
