Of course it is difficult to do the comparison for a "role playing game" where we build up things, because you have to consider the time spent and other trivial factors. It is not like a game of Starcraft or chess where the players have almost exactly the same playing field to compete on. That is why I almost always use these 2 terms together "more dedicated and skilled" :cool:
Heck, even a game of football cannot be considered exactly fair, because there is the "home court advantage" or other factors.
Without being too nick picking about everything, it is safe to say if "all else being equal, then the non-gemmer should be considered more skilled than the gemmer if the non-gemmer accomplished similar trophy count or base upgrades (levels) as the gemmer while the gemmer spent gems to skip the upgrade time"
